Just saw an item on TV about this....the first time I switched it on in many months. I wish I hadn't....I was horrified........the people behind this project (which cost 33 million dollars ) believe the Earth was created only 6 -10 thousand years ago, and exactly as described in the bible.

I don't believe the history of evolution is correct either but bloody hell.....how do these people account for all the human artefacts that have been found and carbon-dated to be tens of thousands of years old?

They might even believe Satan himself placed those objects for mankind to find.

There was a German theory of the mid-19th century that expressed the belief that God had planted the dinosaur bones as a test of faith for Christians.

This was of course before carbon dating...

Creation Museum, don't tell me it's another Museum of Natural History.

I wonder why no one replies, after I post in most of the threads.

I certainly don't think that the "blind watchmaker" view of evolution is correct, but this kind of creationism is complete bumkum! I remember seeing "The Story of God" with Robert Winston where he visited this place, at the time under construction.

That reminds me of Bill Hicks pretending to be God burying dinosaur bones. "Heh, heh! We'll see who believes in me now!"

Here's a link to "The Story of god". I love Robert Winston and this is a brilliant series:
