hey guys :)
i've been meaning to post this logo for awhile but kept forgetting to.
http://server7.pictiger.com/img/185711/picture-hosting/alice.gif
It's a major French cable company and they only recently began to use this logo, before it was just simply 'Alice' (named for the pretty girl who makes everything better by coming into your home and bringing the 'Alicebox' with her...) then all of a sudden they added the eye...
i know it could just be her flirty eye, and that's why they've put the eye on the dot of the 'i' but it looks sinister to me.
What do you guys think?
anyway alice can keep her box to herself as far as i'm concerned lol no crude pun intended :D

Hi CI...
Check this one out from online game called 'second life' ( i imagine role playing games like these are one step closer to 'plugging in' to an electronic matrix of sorts). Keep us plugged in and living a 'life' in a machine. People will do it if they coul'd. Escape reality (well thier reality anyways).

Interesting the eye in the palm. Now what's that got to do with a computer game called second life? Hows the logo even relevant to the game?

wow thanks for that one freespark, i agree very symbolic having the eye in the palm like that...you're right, what has that got to do with a computer game? That it's 'in the palm of your hand' or something, your life...it's godlike, creator like, the eye in the hand.
Hey is that 'second life' thing where you can create a version like a virtual version of yourself? Yep, we saw this or something like this on tv not long ago, my OH wanted to see if they could somehow do the music for it...the documentary was showing people who earn their living through this game, some girl has a boutique on there and she buys and sells the clothes and stuff for the virtual people and earns real money from it!
What a job lol jammy mare! :)
Hey aren't there little pyraminds in the distance too in that logo freespark or am i completely illuminati mad, or else i need glasses (which i do). lol

Thought I'd just mention that a few politicians use Second Life as a platform to promote themselves. There has also been FBI investigations concerning taxes, since SL does have a thriving economy, also apparently lawsuits concerning gambling.
It's quite the interesting place. I've never joined but I know someone that is writing a thesis about virtual reality, and I hear all about what goes on in there. Pretty interesting.

Yes Ma'ame! In fact ...
Sweden first to open embassy in Second Life
Foreign Minister avatar attended real life press conference
STOCKHOLM - Sweden became the first country on Wednesday to open an embassy in the virtual world Second Life.
Created to promote The Nordic state’s image and culture, the embassy does not offer any real or virtual consular services but provides information on its real world counterparts.
