I liked John Gaunt once upon a time before I realised that he's got his head shoved so firmly up his anus that he's nibbling his own intestines. His radio show is painful; he has no time for any of his callers, cutting them off as soon as he's uncomfortable talking to them or cannot counter their arguments, and he proudly writes in the Sun while pretending to have a shred of integrity. Dudes a joke.

James Whale is 100% better, or Ian Wright & Adrian Durham from 4-7.

i think gaunts cool, see he speaks frpom his heart/head. he might be wrong, misinformed on some things, but at least his heart is in the right place. i personally agree with him on some issues, disgree on others. what you have to realise, right, left wing is a trap. some issues cannot be pigeonholed, you cannot take a view/stance, until all sides of the arguments have been listened too. right or left wing is wrong, old, outdated, illogical, only arrogant know fuck alls adopt a postion before listening to views, analysing data.

we should look at the situation for what it is, not go in biased from the start. some things one could be liberal on, some conservative. eg the economy, it should be nationlised institutions for food, electricity, oil, transport, health, education, have manufacturing giants, where has the free market got you, well fuck all. what do we own, no industry, everything imported, even the workers. the resting on laurels, on empire has bred complacency and sold this country down the river of self interest and career politicians, the blind faith empowered them, they have money, they will jump ship, they are internationalists.the loyalty of the business is to the profit/bottom line, not ther workers, workers are factors of production, they are a resource/commodity.on lifestyle i would be liberal, on military well protection is a detterent, lol. england, land of angles, is becoming facist. the helath/nanny state, crap, after tobbaco comes alcohol, watch. someone else instigated the smoking ban, adolf something? add to chips in bins, recycling etc,bring it, carbon footprints the people love it. when the fascists get what they wished for, only when the policies start to affect them, will they develop empathy, rather timely,lol

I do agree with a lot of what Gaunt says but he doesn't speak with the knowledge or conviction to really validate his own views. He's largely a mouthpiece stuck in a feedback loop... he will never admit he's wrong and he doesn't treat the people who choose to debate with him with any respect unless they correlate with his own PoV. He was actually much better when he was on local radio and I listened to him religiously but since gaining national attention he believes his own hype far too much.

I agree with you though in as much as we must all adopt an unbiased stance on all social issues.

he has 2 sony's, lol i was impressed by his defence of asians, he has an asian friend, who own restaurants that go i too, they both go to coventry football club together, share a box. so i know he is a decent person from my mate. also he has gopne through struggles, bankruptcy and made it back up. he is working class person, and hasn't forgot his roots, not a uneducated uppity "middle class wannabes" that plague our nation.

see its easy to get caught up in the hype, wealthy and lose track. although hawksby/jacobs and ian wright( a legend, for ethnics) are cool. also parry, him and brazil are funny, parry is just a lyrical liberace, lol
