Do we know if the writers of the books of the new testament actually witnessed what they wrote about? do we know who wrote these books?

Fabrication, rewriting and stolen ideas.

The names of the Gospel writers are lies and if that is totally untrue, what does it say about the text of the books?

According to one purported insider (http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21180), the New Testament "was gathered by 6 people from 2 different areas."

It seems probable that the NT canon was assembled from primitive oral and written traditions (such as the hypothetical Q gospel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Q_document)) by those in the Brotherhood for "a peculiar and particular purpose."

We don't know who wrote most of the books.

The book of Hebrews is an interesting case. This letter is unique in all the NT litterature, but is attributed to Paul. Some have said this book was written through the Holy Spirit by Melchizadek, the oldest known author of the Christian faith.-- A way to push the Jewish religion (Christianity) into the New Age of Pisces.
