i was recently proposed to by my first love. its really a deep story and i won't go into it (unless someone wants to hear it :D).

if i accept his proposal and we marry, i'm worried about my activity on sites such as this one given the level of gov't he'd likely work in. he's warned me about delving too deep about certain subjects, but i've been a truth seeker since i was 14. he is too, and he's experienced a lot of subject matter discussed here.

i know better than to reveal certain information. but i'm worried about being monitored and i don't want any kind of issues to arise about my "curiosities."

are there any military spouses on here that can give me some sort of advice on balancing my quest for truths while being in the belly of the beast?

yeah he knew about this stuff before he joined! at the time i guess he felt he didnt have a choice? he's deeply regretting he ever signed up. he most likely will be deployed before the end of the year. he's already been to iraq, so its very likely he'll get sent to afghanistan. :(

lol no apologies...i know we're already being monitored. i was just wondering if i should really give a fuck and carry on like i usually do.

Sorry Badasscas but having no choice is a right cop-out, couldnt he have washed dishes instead?

He's part of the war machine however way you look at it, he keeps the wheels turning.

By the way, him warning you, are you OK with him telling you what to do?

(Im a bit teasy today BTW.....)

yeah I shouldnt have said that, I hope he comes out as soon as he can

lol, she totally blew the lid off all the stuff she knew about military higher ups!

not teasy at all! i don't really want to get into his life details. but i felt that his decision was dumb as well. i wasn't in his life at the moment when he decided to sign up. me and him first started reading up on this kind of info when we were around 14 so he knew.
we didn't meet again until years later after he had joined. he says he felt he had no choice, yet he made all the WRONG choices that led up to it.

and the warning wasn't 'telling me what to do.' its more of him being paranoid because he's seen a lot.
