I got this from www.niburu.nl (http://www.niburu.nl) (my gf's father's website) and he got it from the website of a dutch newspaper:

http://www.telegraaf.nl/binnenland/2470645/___Verbod_cash_betalen_bij_super___.html

The article is of course in dutch but it basically comes down to this (I translated the first bit):

"ALMERE - The Almere community wants to start a pilot at supermarkets and other stores in the city of Almere where the shopkeepers keep as little as possible cash money in their cash registers. The costumer is being stimulated to pay for all his purchases by (credit)card (i.e. electronically). Says mayor Jorritsma of Almere."

Jorritsma, or Annemarie Jorritsma as her name is, is a former minister of economics of Holland and currently mayor to the city of Almere. She has, as far as I know, attended Bilderberg meetings, so we can imagine what she's about....

Of course the excuse they use for this is the fact that there's been 'so many robberies' and they want to make it harder for thieves to steal shit, cuz there aint no money!

Any thoughts? :D

Yup yup, showly but surely they're pushing forward the centralized systems of banking and economy. And the most devilish thing about it I think, is that they actually have the guts to bring it like: " Well we've tried to save the banks, but it didn't quite work as we expected, so now we have no choice but to start a new system".

In the name of Uncle Sam's undershorts I say: That's been the plan from the beginning you asses!! And we already know that!

Now the sheeple gotta figure this one out :D

If all the banking systems and monetary systems are run by the illuminati then why should it matter if the cash is physical or not? if they are the controllers of it then what does it matter anyway.

Does anybody remember the days of having to turn up at work for wages, waiting in a long queue while people received their money, counted it, signed for it before the next person came in?

I doubt there will be a cashless society for the pure reason that cash can travel where electrical systems are not really practical.

From what I understand, the fact that cash is physical means that people can make transactions without the knowledge of the system. Say for instance you were growing some produce and you sold a bit down the pub. Physical cash allows you to so this without the system being able to tax it and know what your up to.

Also, electronic cash means that the system knows all of your purchases and can more easily implement systems to regulate your purchases, even disabling your purchasing ability which is ok if there is a paper exchange, however, if there isn't, you are at the mercy of the system.

Electronic : Transactions can be recorded along with your location which means your buying habits, along with what you buy can be used to formulate a profile of the target. Anything unusual could flag up on a system meaning you become the target of further investigation.

Essentially, its about increasing control. I'm sure this is just skimming the surface and others could add more.

i have been having this sort of problem where you can no longer deposit your rent in the landlords dutch bank account. you used to be able to do this for a small fee. i pay for everything with cash, it is my right as long as they are making me use money. if it goes all electronic i will revert to the barter system, anyone want a tattoo for two chickens and a bag of potatoes.

Monopoly (the board game) has now gone cashless. And global too. They have
an edition that uses an electronic banking calculator and no cash. It's called the
"Here & Now World Edition."

Mustn't have kids growing up with the idea that cash is fun, you know.

Lots of people are posting along the lines of getting back to the community values. Get to know the neighbours better, setting up barter exchanges and growing local produce. Also, skills exchanges that help each other out so people are not relying on tptb. The trouble is, even with good levels of community interaction, tptb will still want their piece of the pie.
