You need:
2 ft of the large size syphon tubing as used in home brewing.
Can of good quality lighter refill gas.
Pyrex bowl.
Rubber bung with a hole for tubing,as used on demijons.
Homegrown cannabis or cannabis you know is pure and lots of it.
Assuming you're growing your own and have lots of weed to play with,you can either use anything from the main bud to the off-cuts or "kiff" as long as has resin on it.
Do this outside or in a well ventilated area as we're dealing with large amounts of Butane and of course,dont smoke while you're doing this unless you want to be drawing on your own eyebrows for the next three months.
1. Chop the dried weed up very finely and push it into the tubing until the whole tube is packed with weed. Pack it loosely enough to allow the Butane to flow through it but not too loose so it pours through. It needs to be compact enough so that the Butane passes through slowly but surely.Think how tobacco is packed in a cigarette-thats what you're aiming for. Getting this bit right will save alot of hassle later on.
2.Attach bung to one end of the tubing so its air tight. (You need to figure out a way of pressing the nozzle of the can into the other end of the bung so Butane flows into the tube without it escaping into the air. You can use the little plastic attachments that come with the gas to help and then make a seal between the can and the bung with masking tape.It's easy to figure something out once you're actually doing it.)
3.Place the other end of the tube in a Pyrex bowl and make sure the tube doesnt fall out by taping it to the bowl or have someone help.
4.Begin squirting the Butane into the tube making sure its flowing slowly but easily through the tubing.
5.Butane will begin to drip out of the end of the tubing as this is where the wonder of super-cooling fluid extraction begins.As the difference between the pressure of the earth and the pressure needed to keep Butane in its liquid state acts upon it,the Butane will begin to boil off and dissipitae into the atmosphere. You are now filling the immediate air around you with highly flammable Butane gas. This will be the time when you realize you shouldnt of worn that nylon and wool jumper.
6.Keep pumping the gas through untill the whole can is used up. As the Butane boils off,you'll begin to see brown tide-marks left behind-that the hash oil.
7.After its boiled away you should be left with a small puddle of pure hash oil (if you've used good quality Butane) with no residue.
You can now collect this by using 70% alcohol to remove it from the side of the bowl or heat the bowl over a heat to allow it all to collect in a puddle from where you can then collect it into a container.
You do need an awful lot of weed to make a small amount of hash oil. A couple of 4 ft high plants should produce a nice little puddle of oil then just dip your finger in it every day and lick it off.
I would expect that this would be enough to prevent cancer. Obviously those already with cancer would need a larger daily amount.
