from what i have seen you have only just given up that uni , so jumping onto the next asignment IE finding something ( your core values ) is not a good idea .
reason .
part of your core value has already been astablished by knowing what you were doing was not for you .
attempting to find something is not allowing you time to rest .
in my own opinion , it would be better to give your self a long deserved break 1st , a rest , time to allow your self to feel whether where you are right now is for you . giving your self time to find out if going back to uni is an option or whether you have desided to stay away and give it up .
im trying to say rest , give your self a break , enjoy the break , then when you feel you need to move about a bit and find something , then do it .
otherwise , its good to see that some one says that they have realised that what they are doing is not for them . atleast you are able to self realise that as where many millions cannot .
believe it , your 1st step has already been taken . admire and relax in that postition for a bit , it can make ya feel good , thus benifits of taking the time to feel that step always helps for the next .
good luck , have fun and i wish you all the best .:)

Jonge, I have read. That if you sit with a pencil and paper and write a single line at a time that it will hit you.
It can take as long a four hours I am told, but apparently you know when you stumble upon your answer as it makes you weep and laugh and explode with happiness.
From what I understand you begin by writing.
My name is .......and my life purpose is....
Then you start line after line writing whatever pops into your head.
Just keep going until it hits you.
Let us know how you get on if you decide to spend an after noon on yourself.
Love to all.

Hi jonge,
I recommend reading "the passion plan" by Richard Chang, it's all about the things you seem to be looking for.
you can buy the book on amazon for a dollar...
here's the web for more information: http://www.thepassionplan.com/

Look at the values in your life and then question yourself as to whether the values you hold are the result of your experience and inner knowledge or the reuslt of other people telling you what is right or wrong.

Doing university aswell and I'm also clueless. Hard to know what suits you in this society.
Lots of people are struggling with this, there are not many people who know it from the start.

Nope. But it's hard to make a living if we choose to do nothing.

Nope. But it's hard to make a living if we choose to do nothing.Fitting in with the system isn't he same as who you are - though sadly, some people take it to mean the same. We all know earning money is a con, because money is a con but most of us are stuck in the system - yet there is always something we can do for others and it does sometimes comes back to us... :)

hey tjohn,
i think thats a good point about us not having to adapt to society. why should society have to mould us. i like this way of thinking.
im not sure about what i want to do career wise. ive come to the conclusion that it doesnt matter. all that matters is growing cnsciously as a person and living in harmony, experiencig joy and all that kinda stuff :) !
although we do need money to get buy. as long as we find some way of getting enough money to get by it doesnt really matter. i recently bought a book called the 7 spiritual laws of success by deepak chopra. i recommend you guys give his stuff a read. he is also on youtube here is a random interview of him http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-FaXD_igv4
tjohn can you tell me about what you do, im just curious?
