Salt Waves - How Sound Forms View This

Hi Everyone

I came across this video which is all about the way sound affects things, and the main area in this video is salt and what is described as being salt waves. It certaintly makes you think about the effects that sounds, music and indeed tv have on ourselves.

I remember hearing of this being connected to a theory about Rosslyn Chapel and the holy grail.

Good stuff Cymatics! Wonder if you played some Marillyn Manson or Anton La Vey would you get patterns in the flour of inverted pentagrams and baphomet faces..... I can't listen to Mr Manson so wonder if anyone else has tried? And are there different patterns for certian notes or genres of music?

It's believed sounds or music may tune the arua and help cure disease.
What's certain music can work on an emotional level and change how you feel.
I see it as a kind of meditation, just by listening and stopping thinking for a while.

Indeed the power of sound/music should never be underestimated.

When I was younger I was a raver, the energy created by the tunes was incredible and when you add drugs like ecstacy, speed, cocaine and LSD to the mix it's a mind/life altering experience. :D

I suppose it's the equivelent of our ancestors/shaman ritually dancing to drums around a fire. Only instead of fire we now use laser shows and smoke machines and instead of drums we use turntables. :)

I don't know if it's true, but Basically....each chakra on the spiritual body, resonates to the frequency of a note in a musical scale (say c major relates to the base chakra) then higher up the frequency range and a higher note up the musical scale would resonate to to say the heart chakra.

Colour could be used to match chakras with musical notes also.
Maybe it's another hidden science? hidden by those who know and don't wan't us to know and may use sounds against us for their own benefit:(

On a positive note, I hope there are tunes waiting to be created by musicians that can heal or at least make you feel good. :cool:

Thanks for the link, those pictures of the carvings in the Roslyn chapel really do look like some of the salt formations that where on the link I posted. I am sure they are relevant for something.

Yes I also believe that sound has a lot to do with regards to healing and balancing the body along with colour and crystals. I have read some fascinating spiritual books.

I just love dolphins, so many people seemed to be healed not only physically but also mentally, emotionall and spiritually when people have swimmed with them. Have a look at www.joanocean.com or www.etfriends.com she is a lady who communicates with the whales and dolphins, swims with them in the wild in Hawaii and allows others to do so with her in the form of spiritual holidays. She also has two books which she has channelled from the dolphins.

Of course it can. Our bodies are made up of energetic frequencies. Since all matter is made up of particles, and particles are just photons, light, slowed down. Light has frequency characteristics, which particles demonstrate. Therefore, sound waves or other high energetic frequencies, when they are applied to the correct frequency and resonance, they can heal. Watch this:

This is pretty good. He talks about the sound that can be applied to cells to heal them. Also, Michael Gerber's Vibrational Medicine. Excellent book.

They key is resonance. You have to evolve to a level of conciousness to where your body can resonate or better resonate with certain energies. A person who is very limited in awareness will need lower level energies to survive. We as humans need food ultimately for energy, nothing more. But food, being a physical 3 dimensional type of food, is a type of energy required for a low vibrational being, ie. humans at this stage on the planet.

Of course, all of this is designed to generate a certain feeling. We remember certain feelings associated with the music or song. It reaches us on a quantum level because the sound waves penetrates our wave lengths on many levels. Its a trigger, like a hypnotist snapping his fingers.

i read that same article on a different site just recently.... i was lookin for that Horowitz book.

I ended up DLing a tone generator to hear/feel the various frequencies mentioned (first time i had seen the actual #s for the "healing tones")... as well as spending hours reading about "just intonation" and solfeggio.

Sorry I overlooked your reply, there's so much to see here:) Those books sound great, I've ordered them from Amazon & can't wait to read them! What a wealth of information & what a lucky lady to have had those experiences - great that she's sharing it all.

We certainly have a lot to learn from dolphins & it's also on my list of things to do one day - let's hope we both manage to experience it soon :)
