My car had a semi underinflated tyre, i drive past a speed camera and what i can only guess was the beast mechanism took over.

Couple of days later i recieve a scare tactic letter telling me that i'll die in a road accident if i dont get it sorted (the letter was a bit more subtle but did bring the issue of death up a couple of times) - from some government subsidied tyre company, the small print said the letter was sent from Experian data collection .

Heres what i THINK happened.

The camera has number plate and now it would seem limitless recognition technology. It captures a frame containing a shot of my underinflated tyre, it then flags it up on the system as a transport infrastructue issue, which filters down into the range of companys and services contracted to deal with these things. It finds the location, my address and the nearest centre to drive to to get it fixed. Then they send the scary letter.

Whats scarier is when this system will work in realtime and encompass everything like medical history, credit card usage, travel data, food and clothing purchases, associates, frequency of stuff etc.

Can i not go about my daily life without being dictated to by a fucking computor? It seems like i cant... grrr thanks for the rant
