Constance Cumbey Author of "The Hidden Dangers of the Rainbow" tells her story on how she discovered (uncovered ) the New Age Movement.

There is some interesting and potentially controversial stuff here.

But I just posted it right.... :)

What do you think of the New Age Religion?

I have an outdated computer system so am unable to view these short films. But really, it is a foregone conclusion, and I could probably list out 10 or 15 points this speaker will make without ever seeing the film.

I've noticed, most of these counterpunches to the New Age are biased. Either the sceptic will use absolutely negative words to describe what is being discussed or will pick out dangerous factions to make their points, while ignoring the good. One also has to look out for Fundamental Religious belief systems usually in need of defending due to the threat of new ideas.-- Fundamental Christians or Muslems or what-ever, will not look favorably toward any system that challenges their beliefs,-- for example reincarnation.

Even 500 years ago, mankind could not look far beyond the mountains or any ocean for knowledge and wisdom, and always are differences met as threats and with hostile actions,,, not understanding. This was true of the Western World meeting the Hidden African nation.. And now America has an African president. Not a bad thing, but 200 years ago an unthinkable thing.

As time passed, cultures met. At one time in history.. there was Christianitiy over here,, C'han over there,, as well as Hinduism somewhere else. Almost never did these other beliefs even cross paths. It wasn't until the turn of the last Century, when scolars and adventurers would travel and bring back serious findings, when any kind of serious study of these strange other customs even started..

Soon,, many found (Theosophist, Yogananda, Suzuki) that what the S.E.Asian Buddhist were talking about was what the Contemplitive Monks in Europe had been saying. Today we find, The Westen Christian is in agreement with the Dalai Lama and his efforts for peace and compassionate behavior. We find that the Buddhisattva is the Saint in Eastern cloths. Hindu Meditation techniques have helped millions get a grip on themselves the world over. Even we found the demonized systems of Astology, Crystal Therapy, and Kabbala -- are benefitial and useful SPIRIT tools used by other cultures but just withheld from ours. We have found agreement between religions and cultures not division and there is great oppertunity opening up for us because of it.

This is where we are.-- and some call it New Age Religion.

I agree to some degree dedicate,

"new age" has been demonised quite rightly in some respects because TPTb have influenced it heavily and made it part of the NWO manifesto,

however never throw the baby out with the bathwater, there is a lot of great spiritual teachings that are included in the mish mash umbrella term that people generalise as "new age"

Michael Tsarion made excellent reference to this when talking about how the early theosophical teachings were eroded and changed over the years on red ice radio..

Ill try and find link

New Age has quite expertly subverted certain truths. Karma and reincarnation, for instance, are now both widely accepted in the West as good and necessary functions of cosmic order, when in reality they are both pure fucking evil.

This is best illustrated in the Illuminati belief that they are justified in perpetrating evil in the world because people would not suffer unless they were meant to suffer. It similarly inculcates the belief that people who are born into harsh conditions, or mentally or physically challenged, are being somehow justly punished for something they did in a previous life, while those born into Bloodline families are the divinely ordained rulers of the planet.

If one has ever wondered why the NWO seems to have a special fondness for the Hindu religion, look no further than the caste system and the divine prerogative that one should just accept his or her lot in life and not make any noise.

This may sound like the zealous diatribe of a fundie Christian, but I can assure you that I am no such thing--although many of them have correctly pointed out the flaws in the theology, they deny that the system exists and is fundamentally crooked.

It does sound like the zealous diatribe of a fundi Christian.

Not worth reasoning with.

There are, indeed, very few things as ugly as a bigoted fundamentalist of any kind.

The silly, stereotypical notion that reincarnation/karma teaches that suffering people are in their state because they "deserve" it is childishly simplistic and philosophically ignorant to state it charitably. That is definitely not the principle of karma.

Karma is a philosophical concept of radical freedom that explains that, as radically free beings, we have the ability to create our future states of being via our present free-will actions. More, the way that we ensure that we elevate our consciousness and future states is precisely by showing trans-egoic compassion, loving kindness, and to extend active service toward those around us who are suffering.

The idea of looking down upon the suffering because they supposedly "deserve" it due to their "sin" is an exclusively Abrahamic (Judaic/Christian/Islamic) notion. It is not the idea of karma.

The principles of reincarnation/karma are NOT originally New Age. Rather, these were originally Hindu concepts that were stolen by the New Age movement and incorporated into their own concocted world-view construct. Understood in their original, philosophically compelling form, the principles of reincarnation/karma do make sense and are philosophically defensible. But, not when misunderstood in a concocted, New Age sense.

Please get your metaphysics straight before making statements that could be construed as being bigoted in nature.
