Fantastic piece of kit and well able to be able to read a car licience plate on the surface of the moon. I know because a mate of mine worked on the development programme. It was not only designed for deep space, as one of the early images was intended to be live streams of the President of the USA officially opening it while the event was clearly seen in the Hubble from earth orbit. This was to show just how powerful the mirror was and the quality of the resolution. This little piece of propganda was all ready to go until...
Some well-meaning and innocent soul suggested it could take images of the Apollo 11 landing site as part of the 30th aniversey clebration.
Shame, that would of been a nice tribute...

Thanks, this is cool!:cool::)
But you can't beat live skywatching:cool:. You know you don't need a very expensive telescope for basic skywatching. I saw the 4 Galliean moons around Jupiter with a pair of cheap binoculars.

This is one of the things the elite use to give the illusion that they provide us general information about space.
BS. If you swallow this...
think twice.

Go for it. My friend has a big posh telescope that cost him over £1000, but a much cheaper one is fine for basic astronomy. You can see things like planetary disks of the inner planets and inner gas giants.
