Do you believe in orbs? Have you any personal photos? I would love to know more.

Yes, i saw one in april right in my garden on top of a tree, it was quite big, about 30cm diameter, dark blue outside and light blue inside. It just appeared out of nowhere and then left in a straight line and when it left, it became smaller and changed colour for a bright yellowish ball. Lost sight of it on the horizon.
I haven't got any photos, dont have a camera! :-(

I am going to try to photograph some this coming month in nearby graveyards. I'll post anything I come up with.

Do you believe in orbs? No, I don't believe in them but I do believe they exist, because I have seen one! It was the approximate size of a beach ball and was a blueish-turquoise colour - with no sound or smell and it just sat there in the corner of the room! I was around 11 years old and I got scared and ran out of the room but when I came back about half an hour later, it had gone. Have you any personal photos? I would love to know more.Yes I have some digital photos of 'Orbs' that unlike the one I saw as a kid, couldn't been seen with the naked eye. These are smaller and are not the same colour and it is likely that these are out-of-focus reflections of camera flash upon dust particles.
When I was about twenty someone took a picture of myself (without flash) and on the picture was a strange looking cloud (below the skyline) which we did not see until the film was developed. When using a digital camera we can put some things down to electromagnetic interference but this was with a simple camera using film and a long time before digital cameras were invented (I'm 61 now, so that's around 20 years ago). What was it? I have no idea.

I didn't believe they were anything other than dust particles caught out of focus, BUT over this last couple of years I have changed my views on lots of things, these days im not so sure what I believe.
Its entirely possible of course, just make sure your lens is perfectly clean and take 2 photos each time and if its in both you just may have your answer.

I think most pictures of orbs are just optical illusions. For instance, check this out:

My first thought when I pulled this picture off my camera is "holy hell, that looks like a fairy!". As it happens, there were just lots of mosquitos out that night...
That said, lots of people have stories of having seen orbs in places other than their camera lens...who am I to say that they're crazy? I haven't seen one myself, but that doesn't mean much. :D

I certainly wouldn't rule out the possibility that it's an insect or other piece of airborne debris that you didn't notice when the picture was taken, particularly as the lighting in that picture is dark enough that the flash certainly could have gone off, producing exactly that effect.
But I wasn't there, and although it certainly looks like it could be an effect similar to the mosquito in my picture, I can't say that with certainty. Maybe it's airborne debris, maybe it's a UFO, maybe it's a ghost, or a very tiny Bigfoot leaping down from the treetops. It's a classic case of too little information to make any definitive decision based on that picture alone.

There was that Video from NASA that show two astronauts trying to open an airlock unsuccessfully and then a lot of "Space debris and ice particles" appeared and seemed to enter the lock mechanism and a few seconds later hey presto the door opens. Apparently it was a life of death situation if the door had been permanently jammed then it was bye bye astronauts.
Gotta be on youtube somewhere, title I have no idea of though.
If you are aware of the fractal nature of the Universe then size plays no important roll at all. If our atoms are getting further and further apart then we are getting bigger the further we travel, unnoticeable to us though as everything is getting bigger at the same time. So we could eventually build a craft or portal that lets us jump a fractal level and we could be in a Universe were we are tiny and everything else is huge or vice versa.
So the orbs could be in all possibility "intelligent life" I don't think there is evidence to prove or to disprove so it is a question of what you yourself believe.
I am with crazy old Mulder on this one, I want to believe so I'm not ruling anything out ATM.

Me and the wife were looking at old holiday snaps last night and noticed these set of photos that we had taken in a old house in France.
What do you think orbs or what
http://www.flickr.com/photos/34146606@N05/show/
some are dust
some are moisture
some are manifestations of other beings... but they are not always spherical shaped.
some are seen in our skys too!

The ice particle thing is a little difftcult to believe.Water boils at 100c at sea level,60c the same hight as everest, and just boils in space. It canīt exist in liquid form. You could have a big debate on just how these ice particles free themselves from the shuttle. Is it possable that the ice will remain frozen in direct sun light?Idonīt think so ,but Iīm only guesing.

I have seen orbs, not photographed them though. I saw them when I was meditating, it felt like something was trying to manifest then I lost concentration.
I am less convinced by the digitally photographed orbs as I am the ones you can actually see. There is too much chance of it being dust or specks of moisture than anything else for me to say they are manifestations for certain.
The shuttle orbs, as far as I can recall, weren't ice but unburned rocket fuel which stayed at a liquid temperature, probably due to a small leak or it being ejected. Just what I heard and not an explanation to make it clear.:o

Could this be an explanation of some orbs or are the Ummites a hoax?

Night had now fallen. It was about ten-twenty and they put the suitcase in front of the balcony and opened it. My wife and I were seated without saying a word, and very impressed. Since across the street from us there is a neon sign of an electric appliance shop, we saw all they were doing even though our lights were turned out.
First they looked carefully to see if there was anyone on the balconies which, although not across from us in the other facade of the building, are not far away. Then they began to take out of the suitcase things like metallic balls the size of a tennis ball and other smaller ones. I had already seen one months before. It is something extraordinary. They stay in the air and go to all heights as if controlled by radio. In addition they took out two more things, although they couldn't be seen well, were shaped like this: (picture not here).
In all they removed some twenty or more of different kinds. One by one they took them out on the balcony and, as if they were little bubbles or balloons, they disappeared toward the street. At least four more passed near the roof bordering the lamp and floated into the hallway of the house.
[Here is the first detailed explanation of the purpose and use of the mysterious mini-probe reported in so many UFO close encounter cases. Here again, because of their widespread employment by many different ET visitors, this must be a nearly universal technology completely unknown to us at this time - Publisher]
Then they asked our permission and went into the hallway and we heard the door to the street open. When they came back, the suitcase was empty. All this time the one who did not know Spanish was manipulating a metal rod with a disc in the center.

When I was either 7 or 8 years old, I was in bed, trying to sleep and then I saw this bright white/blueish (but mainly white) perfectly spherical ball of light which was illuminating and its movement can only be described as drifting. So it first appeared in the upper corner of my room and it drifted right over my bed, I was slightly scared but also fascinated. Then when it got to the end of my bed it went downwards (as I was on a bunk bed) and I followed it and it just faded out, I was actually gutted, I didn't want it to leave, wanted to take a picture or show my parents or something. But anyway yeah, that's my account. At the time I actually just thought it was some natural phenomenon. Still do I guess.
