This is one of the best contactee accounts of the 1950s. Mr. Angelucci's Secret of the Saucers is a memoir of a more innocent time, and a tale of spiritual growth. It was edited by Ray Palmer, the gray eminence behind FATE magazine, the publisher of the first flying saucer accounts, and the Shaver mythos before that. In fact, Angelucci's name doesn't appear on the title page, simply Palmer as editor. Angelucci is, strangely, only listed as a copyright holder.

The well-named 'Orfeo' (see Orpheus and his journey into the underworld) was, like Shaver, a regular guy, a swing-shift line worker at a Lockheed factory in southern California. On Friday, May 23, 1952, by this account, he was strangely drawn to a remote location in Griffith Park; actually not a bad place to land a UFO in Los Angeles. He was contacted by an alien entity named 'Neptune.' Later he is taken aboard a spaceship, gets to visit their paradisiacal home planet by exchanging bodies with Neptune, meets Jesus, and gets to see the end of the world (in 1986).

Angelucci (or Palmer?) does some seminal UFO myth-building here. There was a being named Lucifer who lived on a planet between Mars and Jupiter. His hubris led to the planet being shattered into the asteroid belt. Humans were imprisoned on Earth, to work off the karmic debt. There is a 'prime directive' which prevents the UFO builders from interfering in Earth's affairs. However, humanity's spiritual evolution is helped along by extraterrestrial, godlike entities such as Jesus. The contactee is instructed to spread the UFO builders' message to the world at large, and only a handful are picked from the multitudes. All of these themes have become incorporated in one form or another into various UFO belief systems.

There is a field guide to UFOs at the end with some fascinating details. The UFOs are grown as a single large crystal with all of the subsystems intact, and work on some kind of magnetic principle. They have capabilities such as tractor beams, cloaking devices, and inertial dampening; the concepts were so fresh in 1955 they didn't even have names yet. Some are small drones, used for surveillance. Others are huge motherships.

Among the highlights on earth are a description of the first ever UFO convention, and a speaking tour that goes horribly wrong. The book makes a brisk read (again, a hallmark of Palmer), and if you suspend disbelief, it works as science fiction as well.

The planet referred to is "Maldek," according to certain New Age sources. Lucifer is, of course, the planet Venus. ;)

Forget the mythical guy with the horns and a fork, because Lucifer (as the name implies) has to do with light, not darkness.

Yet the bible turns it around and it is a contradiction in terms, to say that Lucifer is to do with darkness and therefore, if we are of Light it was the one (En.ki) who is now called Lucifer, that was responsible for creating us in the first place. When we were created we also had a potential to be 'shining ones' of brilliant Light! However, because we wanted more enlightenment the potential to be as gods, was taken away from us because some gods wanted us to remain subservient to them...

There will be many of them and unfortunately the public generally fall for the massive propaganda when they create this type of "superman" you might call it, so be aware that this is all underway.



World meetings have been held over many years about this very time that we're living in and the strategies were all laid down. Thousands of think tanks work on them all the time and we are about to see it come into effect and we are about to take the brunt and we are the ones who have to be able to speak out and inform those who are uninformed as to what's really going on; so it's not all black or hopeless. There are people out there who do understand what must be said openly and we must also accept there will be a backlash against anyone who can put over their knowledge to those who have none. This will definitely come.

The Theosophical society used to print books under a publisher named the Lucifer trust but later changed it to the Lucis trust foundation.

So the allegory of Lucifer being cast out of Heaven, a planet/star is a heavenly body. Lucifer fell from grace and became know as Satan in the Biblical version (some say the Bible was originally written in Greek)

Sounds a bit like what the Scientologists, Mormons religion is based upon and the Raelians. Forum Member: Thelucifer, check his Posts; provided us with a detailed history of this interpolation, (Mis-translation-added word) by a roman catholic named jerome. He first used it from a greek Translation, where the Greeks used phospherous? and Lucifer was the corresponding Roman god to the Greek god-Phosphorous-Bright/shining light/star. jerome was scribing the Latin version of the Book of YHWH, so the meaning becomes lost.

The Phrase in Hebrew is: Hillel ben Shachar=Hillel(name) 'child of the Light'

the word 'ben', though usually meaning 'son', but not always. Depending upon grammatical CONTEXT it may also be non-gender: child, also 'pupil'

Throughout the entire Book, the word Light very often is a metaphor referring to the Laws of the Torah.

PPS: as an aside; I 'have read' where HaSatan, Hillel(name), the Devil, Dragon, Ashera/Venus/Astarte/Isis/etc. ad infinitum, has/had Operation Centres on saturn and jupiter. One story thinks the Shumaker-Levy Meieors that bombarded Jupiter in the 90s? was part of the 'War in Heaven'. This being, and her minions have use of this Universe and perhaps other dimensions.

Anyway, the story said nasa scientists were definitly picking up SOS radio signals from jupiter. I was never able to cross-reference this. ;^P
