Okay..
From the horse's mouth: "...do onto others..." necessarily excludes murder, THEREFORE, there can never be such a thing as a Christian Cop or a Christian Soldier because both professions deal in death for somebody sometime.

But letting someone else murder is fine? BS I'd rather kill someone to save an innocent life and spend eternity in hell than live the rest of my life knowing I was a completly worthless piece of shit.

I don't follow your reasoning - soldiers in military orders the world over swear allegiance to their national flag before GOD...
The Police bring criminals to testify in a court of Law believed to be sanctioned by GOD, and swear upon the Bible.

Cops are part of a brotherhood which excludes all others -- on the outside are the law abiding chumps and law breaking carrion. Christianity is the religion where in all men/women are your brothers/sisters. Until police treat all people as they would their own brothers, they are not christian.

Simply put: soldiers of all kinds murder as a matter of profession.
Christ would not approve.
