Well it depends really, they might have advanced slower than humanity which means their 5 billion could be our 1 billion or even less. Saying 'They have 5 billion years advanced tech' really makes no sense at all.

Homo Sapiens are about 150,000 years old, so our tech can be classed as 150,000 years advanced, but there were other Homos (no giggles anybody :p ) before us, so our tech may be 200,000 or even 250,000 years advanced.

We might find a world one day of a younger race who are more advanced than us or an older race less advanced that us. Age does not automatically bring better tech or make them more advanced that us.

Yes, good point. I can claim I have info about a war with Iran starting in the next 6 months and that my alien friends are trying to help stop it but they might not be able too.

How so? You cannot know that. Number one problem when looking at 'ET' is we put us into them. We look at our history and our lives and then attach them to ET. This is flawed, it may be our only way to understand 'ET' anthropology but it is wrong nevertheless, they have had different growing conditions, examples etc.

If they advanced that slowly it might be down to them never having a war or they have had disaster after disaster or numerous other factors. (War speeds up technological development in all areas, well known fact in humanity)

Our tech is impressive now, especially when compared to our the turn of the last century. We are advancing at a high rate on almost every front from robotics to medicine. But being so far advanced does not mean they are automatically going to be the best. 12 Mass shooting 22 0 Iraq Ar Rutba, Iraq Suspected al-Qaeda militants set up a fake checkpoint and stopped a bus with Shiite pilgrims travelling near the town of Rutba in Al Anbar Governorate, killing all but 2 of the men in the vehicle. The massacre was similar to incidents that happened during the height of the insurgency in 2006 and 2007. Iraqi Army units searched the desert the next day to find any trace of the attackers.[136]

13 Bombings, shootings, rocket attacks 15 23 Afghanistan Kabul, Afghanistan Taliban fighters staged a coordinated assault on several major targets in the capital Kabul. Several militants set up positions inside a shopping center under construction in the city's embassy district. Gunfire and explosions rocked several parts of the city for the better part of the day and continued well into the night. At least 15 people were confirmed killed (including at least 4 policemen) and more than 20 wounded. This is the third major attack in the capital since June and the most sophisticated assault that the Taliban have attempted so far. It is also the longest-lasting insurgent attack on the capital, ending after more than 20 hours of battle.[137]

14 Bombings 19 47 Iraq Hamza and Medhatiyah, Iraq Iraqi insurgents bombed a military bus coming out of the Habaniya military base west of Baghdad, killing at least 2 soldiers and injuring at least 10 others. In the town of Medhatiyah south of the capital, a car bomb exploded in front of a restaurant frequented by security forces, killing at least 13 people. The deadliest attack of the day occured in the southern parts of Iraq near the city of Hilla when a car bomb exploded in front of a popular local restaurant. Initial reports indicate at least 15 people were instantly killed and more than 30 wounded. Additionally, two policemen were shot dead in Baghdad and another was injured.[138]

He was taking part in peace deal negotiations between the insurgents and other forces, when two Taliban members approached to greet him and at least one of them blew himself up, using explosives hidden in his turban. Reports indicate that four other people were wounded in the attack, including his deputy Mohammed Masoom Stanekzai. This is the seventh assassination of a major political figure and Taliban opponent this year in the country.[153]

I usually do not look that deeply into it. I've had dreams, experiences, where I have seen reptilians, greys, and other weird shit. But I have come to accept that they may have been just that, dreams, or other spirits using archetypes familiar to me in my mind to communicate with me. Entities without physical form would certainly not choose an unfamiliar form. But who am I to say that these beings do not exist? I have argued FOR their existence quite a few times here. But as with many things, I have come to accept reason over wishful thinking, and I am considering other possibilities to explain my experiences. Sorry but having looked through several top documents on Nuclear Winter it seems they have come to another conclusion and none whatsoever state that all life would die out within 3 days. So please, if you can find the paper in which this is stated I would be grateful but I cannot find anything at all on the net that states this.

Think about it, if complete lack of sun and freezing temps mean you die within three days, someone hasn't told the Nordic folk or those living in the Wastelands of Russia.

Using the ignore option is an excellent way to skip over posts that are posted by people who you find unacceptable in their posting style. When you use it it will still show the person posted but the post will not be visable. There is an option beside each post to read that particular post if you choose to.
The ignored person's posts may still show up in the form of being quoted by others, there is no way around this.
It's quite easy to use the feature, I used it a LOT until I became a mod LOL. Now I have to read it all, no cheating ;).
It's very easy to ignore and unignore people you should try it. It makes the forum very peaceful.

Yours is an amazing story. I have followed some of it off and on but I am missing a lot of the story, so my apologies in advance if I ask any repetitious questions that you may have already answered. I am very curious to know more about your stuggle and your interactions with alien races.

If I read you correctly, the Nordics want to protect the human races (presumably then, there are many instances of the human race spread across a wide area of space).

The Nordics are from Altair (16.7 Light Years away) but also from Andromeda (2,600,000 Light Years away)? Altair is practical local on that scale, wheras Andromeda is a whole other galaxy that is rather bigger that our Milky Way. It is vastly distant. Have I understood you correctly on that point?

The Greys and Reps come from Zeta Reticuli which is 39 LY away - again comparatively 'local' compared to the Andromeda galaxy.

Of course I am considering these distances as a human being in the 21st century. To the Nordics or Greys, this may be completely irrelevant.
