Wondered of any other peoples experience in ufo docs they've had.
I have found that the 2005 UFO conference hosted by Jamie Maussan was the best I've seen so far. The 2006, I dont think is out yet. I have seen that on google video here:-

Well I really enjoyed watching the Stargate Film and also Stargate the Series. It truly makes you think about life out there and gets you thinking not only about other beings. I could not really get into the Stargate Atlantis series though.

Last year I also bought the old 1980's uncut version of V the series, that was ok.

There's a couple of good, new documentaries out now. One called Fastwalkers (http://www.fastwalkers.com/)and the other called UFO: The Greatest Story Ever Denied (http://www.theufomovie.com/).

There are also some great titles available from the UFOData store (http://www.ufodata.co.uk/catalog/)

Hope this helps... :)

Well "Close encounters of the third kind" seems less "far-fetched" these days than it did in the 70's.Great film.Another good film is "Fire in the sky" supposedly based on an actual incident.

I saw Fire In The Sky years ago in a cinema in London. The film started at midnight and by 2am when it finished I was too bloody scared to leave the buliding.

I can also recommend a film called "Lifeforce" from the mid 1980s. It's about a nasty horrible alien race feeding of human energy. Funny how this stuff was being fed to us all those years ago and look where we are now.

Oh your post made me laugh when I read about the Fire In The Sky, because I am such a wimp when it comes to anything as in horror films. Maybe now that I have started taking my Evolution Monatomic Gold today it will give me extra strength and courage ha ha

I will look out for Lifeforce as well, yes it is strange how things have sort of been implanted in our past and our coming to light now.

Two more great films that i recommend anyone to see are...A.I.(artificial intelligence),another Spielberg film.It got slated for being a bit sentimental,i dont think it was.Its a fantastic film that gets you thinking, its about 3 hours long but didnt feel like on first watch. Its so engrossing. The other film is STARMAN.....with a brilliant performance by Jeff bridges.Be warned though, have some tissues at hand cos both films are heartbreaking.

none of them are any good.
and your perception of aliens and ufos has come from all of them.
instead of greys and reptiles they could have said red and orange spotty ones and thats what we'd all be talking about.

well where else has all info came from?
lets see what it could be huh
books: someone elses ideas, perceptions and experiences
dvds: someone elses perceptions and ideas and experiences
footage: someone elses footage/video shot that can easily be manipulated
actual sighting: well a ufo doesnt mean it comes from outer space, it doesnt mean its the government and it doesnt mean its even real.
ce3 or 4 contact: doesnt mean its an alien or a ufo it doesnt even mean its a real event.

and i'll tell you the 70+ books i have on the subject mean absolutely diddle squat plus all the dvds and footage...oh and the stuff ive seen in the sky.
none of it means shit really does it?..it still doesnt prove anything, an what is proof anyway?

its funny how as soon as something is questioned that people seem to have an interest in the anger comes out.
by the way its 10am and i dont drink cocoa

Houdini youre right, nothing can ever be proved.thats why ive an open mind about everything.ghosts, aliens life after death etc.ive read 100's of books in my time and the anger came out cos you made a snap judgement about someone you dont know.there was no need for it.

houdini

no i didnt. i didnt judge you at all.
i stated that whatever you had read, watched, seen, cannot be taken as proof.
same as whatever ive seen watched or read cant be taken as proof.
(granted i only mention movies in the first post)

example: if your/my belief about aliens hasnt came from books dvds footage or what you have seen then where has it come from?
thats not judging you.

my mind is open as well, otherwise i wouldnt be saying the above.

anyway close encounters was the better of the movies for me.

Your debate, Houdini, is quite amusing...
It took me awhile to actually figure out if you were being serious or not.

"what is proof anyway?"... Hahaha.
Going by your argument it's like saying "how do I know your real? How do I know that the proof you presented me is real? How do I know what real is?" etc.

Of course, ultimately, we don't know shit about how things roll... but the only way to get closer to the truth is to use whatever knowledge we do have, and use that to extend our 'sense of reality'.

It's called progress. And at the level we are at now, most of our evidence (or our gut/senses) tell us that many of these "paranormal" cases that have been presented to us, are truth (according to our current sense of reality).

It's having an open mind that has kept us progressing from "cave men". ;)

For me, it has to be 'Signs'; None of the pyrotechics/FX/'by god,we're American' crap, also 'Fire in the sky' Real creepy.

It is; Whitley Strieber's abduction experiences. It's pretty good, but a bit slow to get going. Stick with it though; you'll be glad you did.

My favorite fictional movie has to be "Close Encounter", but for documentaries: there so much to choose from. Probably "Secret Space"
