Chat Room (look up) Scheduled Chat Times

I think there should be a regularly scheduled chat time for the forum.

If anyone isn't aware - there's a new chat room, that's located next to UserCP and FAQ on the link bar.

I'm in the chat room now, and have checked in a few times but usually the room is empty.

This is because people will join it - then quickly leave after seeing nobody is there.


How about we schedule certain hours where people who are browsing the forum will check into the chat.

Most time's during the American late night (1am-4am EST) are the most convenient for me.

I suppose this thread ought to be a discussion about whether or not people would be up to the task to host regularly scheduled chat rooms.

I'm in the chat now if anyone wants to join.

i notice on deoxy.org that the chat is integrated into the page.. i'm sure this
place would liven up if people in the forum were aware of random
chatter in the chatroom by it appearing somewhere within the forum.

or just a bigger more obvious "chat" button. BUt some integration would do it.

The thing is a lot of people moaned over why this site has not got a chat room, and now it does no one seems to access it. Or are they not aware of it??. The Schedule idea would just not work at all in my opinion.

Some people prefer to talk on these forums rather than chat in a room.

I understand your impatience but at this point in time we are in a test stage. We need to be sure everything is integrated and there are no bugs.

Familiarise yourselves with how things work.

I have had some really interesting conversations in there.
