Oh! Don't forget his masterpiece http://www.sitchiniswrong.com :D

By nature human beings are physical beings into which God has placed an eternal spirit. When we die, our bodies suffer physical decay and corruption, and our spirits go to the “spirit world” or “afterlife,” which has its own sort of cosmic geography, described by terms like “heaven” and “hell.” A prerequisite for residing in this realm is being disembodied, since that plane of reality is designated as home for disembodied beings. At times, disembodied spirits (like Samuel) are permitted to “pass over” to their old estate.
Heiser has done some extensive and oftentimes fine research, BUT his stances on certain issues like the afterlife and the trinity doctrine is not based on research, facts, or scripture. There is simply no evidence to suggest that human beings are physical beings into which God has placed an eternal spirit who's spirits go to the “spirit world” or “afterlife,” following death.
I do not see how a student of the Torah, the Psalms, and the Prophets can conclude that humans beings have ANY part of themselves that is eternal. That line of thinking is simply not supported by scripture. We a taught that THE GOD created man from dust and breathed into the fleshly body causing the man to become a living creature (soul). This breath or spirit that is within man is NOT man's but rather God's quickening agent at work in all living creatures!
I fail to see how anyone who has studied the OT can find the trinity doctrine within any of the scrolls or find any teaching that would lead one to believe in an eternal burning hell. The OT teaches that there is ONE GOD with no peer or equal who is the lifegiver, that man's destination after death is Sheol (the grave), and man's hope is to one day be resurrected from Sheol by the power of the lifegiver to live in a world not subject to God's wrath.

Personally I have t-no time for Heiser , my advice is stay clear but
everyone to their own
from parkers link:
For those of you who have followed the debate on the internet you may know about the personal attacks I have withstood from Michael S. Heiser, in my attempt to honestly debate him regarding the writings and thesis of Zecharia Sitchin. I always choose my words carefully and have never used the word "wrong" when applying it to Mr. Heiser and I have never personally insulted him or his position. The word "wrong" has emotional charge behind it so I try to use "correct/incorrect" to apply to details or facts. I prefer to debate the evidence and the issues and not have a discussion become personal. The purpose, for me, is to increase my understanding of a subject and clarify misunderstandings. My goal is always to add to the body of knowledge and understanding of a complex issue for the readers and myself.
As you will see, Mr. Heiser's goal is not to add knowledge and understanding to these issues. His goal, from the beginning, when he came on the web page and speaking scene, was to tear down the work of an established author. He had no name recognition to stand on so he used Sitchin's good name to get attention for himself so he could sell his own book, appear on the radio and get speaking engagements. Mr. Heiser does not think he is a debunker and I will not declare that he is. My purpose is, for the reader, to point out that his tactics and behavioral patterns fit the mold and style of a debunker which includes using personal attacks and ridicule. You can make the decision on your own once you see both sides of the issue. Hopefully, you will reach your own conclusions about his motives.
Debunker trick #1, when having no reputation of your own, attempt to destroy the work of an established individual, in the process creating a name for yourself. In fact, the method involves using the name of the person you are attempting to destroy as the springboard for yourself. His first web page that I read was full of insults and uncalled for statements. You would think that a man who claims he has a respected background and career would not want to use someone else’s name for his own gain. Wouldn't he want to be recognized for his own individual achievements? This maneuver is a “shifter” strategy made famous in the book, “Atlas Shrugged,” by Ayn Rand. This procedure is used to take away from someone the thing you want the most for yourself, thereby "shifting" it away from them and to you. In this case, Heiser wants to take away Sitchin's fame and respect as an author, researcher and speaker.
Even at this point, he still wants to debate Sitchin. For what purpose? If it were to add to everyone's knowledge and understanding there would be no need for personal attacks against Sitchin or me. Sitchin does not have a computer, does not browse the Internet and, therefore, has never seen any of Heiser's material nor heard him speak. Why would he agree to go on the radio and be attacked? Why would Sitchin help Heiser increase his name recognition? Sitchin is just too busy writing new books and arranging seminars. You can tell from Heiser's writing style that he is very confrontational -- he uses debunker tactics. His purpose for wanting to debate Sitchin is to employ the attack and ridicule process.

This reads what latin speaking people like to call "ad hominem". We'll see if the rest of the read is not personality oriented.

Be that as it may, you are correct in your distinction, however; Metaphorically 'speaking'; oft times people 'buy' what they 'read';
not in a pecuniary sense. :)
Rest assured, they are not 'pay per view'........they are written word documents.

2012 hoax Debunking the "2012 Doomsday"
http://www.2012hoax.org/start
http://www.2012hoax.org/conclusion
Rumors of an apocalypse in 2012 are being spread by people in order to make money.
Don't be Scammed!
There are some things you need to know about the rumors of the "end of the world" or "Doomsday" in 20121.
The "2012 doomsday" is a hoax, a fraud, and a con job. It is a cruel and disgusting lie being promoted by scam artists after money; First they scare people to death that something terrible is going to happen, then publish books and videos on "how to survive the apocalypse". Get the scam?! You're not going to fall for something like that… right?
The problem is that some people will fall for the scam. Some people will believe it. Some people will waste their money buying fake information on "how to survive". Some people will buy worthless survival kits, and some will even buy spaces in shelters that are not going to be built - ever!.
Some people will die because of these rumours, and we are trying our best to stop them
If you think we are being overly dramatic, then consider this example. In September, 2008, a young woman in India became distraught and depressed after watching well made but over-hyped reports about the Large Hadron Collider. She believed these shows when they said that the LHC would cause a 'miniature big bang' or a create a black hole, and destroy the world. She drank insecticide. She was 16.
Why we made this site
One of us regularly visits local school classrooms, giving an astronomy talk and Q&A session, and has been doing this for 5th and 8th grade classrooms for about three years. Beginning in 2008, a shift in the nature of the questions was noticed over the year before. Instead of the classic "What would happen if you fell into a black hole?" the questions nare pointing more towards "What's really going to happen in 2012?" and "Somebody told me a planet is going to hit us in 2012". When the students were asked where they had heard this information, the top two sources named were Yahoo! Answers and YouTube.
A visit to Yahoo! Answers disclosed that A) There were a lot of people asking 2012 questions and B) there were a lot of people giving incorrect information about 2012. We began writing a "2012 hoax" page in January of 2009, and immediately began getting feedback from many different people who were scared and confused by all of the 2012 doomsday talk. Each time a new 'issue' (or rumor) was raised, the article grew.
By April 2009 the article had swelled to several thousand words, and it became apparent that it needed to be broken up into smaller topical articles. In conjunction with other authors, amateur astronomers, astrophysicists, chemists, and school teachers, this site was born.
In May 2009, a teacher left a comment on Astrogeek's blog, commenting on his 2012 hoax article.
…[I] am a teacher and my 3rd graders are hearing about this - A small child is talking about how if its ending, and why she shouldn't just end it now. This isn't anywhere close to funny any more.
On the comments page of this site, a mother of a 7 year old said:
I have a 7 year old that happened to see a documentary on the history channel that scared him so bad, that he became depressed and began to question the meaning of life. He is 7 years old. This nonsense is scaring our children - it must stop immediately. I found this website and tried the best I can to explain to him it was all a hoax.
In order to make some money, several 'authors', 'scientists', video producers, and, in select cases, even the History Channel have churned up an international hoax, which is scaring young people, children, to the point where they are talking about suicide, or questioning the meaning of life (by the way, we have an article on how to help your kids deal with this hoax).
Fear and ignorance can kill. Children are too gullible for these horrible rumors.
This has gone too far.
Recently, one of us took the decision to investigate into the false entrepeneurs selling the scam and found a rather laughable excuse for an e-mail, and here is a brief summary of its content:
"How do I know what's going to happen in 2012? Well I cannot explain in exact detail, but I have researched enough to know how much danger humanity is in.''
This is irrefutable evidence that even those so confident about 'doomsday' are desperatly looking for more 'evidence'.
This site is dedicated to exposing and debunking the many claims made about an apocalypse in the year 2012. Hopefully it will be read by those who need to see it. Hopefully they will realisein time that this is not true at all.
Are you listening, History Channel? You HAVE TO STOP
Who are we?
Several of us are astronomers, employed in various fields, and some are still in school. Some of us are fairly young, and some of us are retired. Some of us are not astronomers, but have an interest in astronomy and space. Some of us are professionals in the sciences: Astrophysics, chemistry, etc. Some of us are teachers. We come from all over the world: The U.S., the U.K., Australia, Germany. A few of us contribute directly to the site. Many of us contribute by proofreading or giving feedback, or by contributing to one of the main authors by e-mail.
None of us are part of any vast conspiracy to hide anything.
Feedback
Some recent comments have given the impression that some people doubt that there is a need for this site. We present some of the comments received on this site and on Astrogeek's site as a counterpoint.
Feedback from Astrogeek's Page
This is one of the MOST TRUE articles I have come across in recent times! Down here in South India, local channels are agog with this terrible rumour and believe me, it is very hard to come across anyone without shuffling towards this topic! And this article goes a long way in dispelling this myth.
Thank you so much, I was one of the many people scared about all of this and you have really opened my eyes. I really enjoyed reading what you wrote for us, and thank you very much!
This article is truly amazing. I was terrified after I heard all the 2012 hype, but now after thoroughly reading this article, I understand how poorly educated I was about the facts.
Thank you Astrogeek, for providing true information free from ads and money-making scams, and putting my mind at peace.
Feedback from 2012hoax.org
All I have to say is thank God there is one decent website on here that tells the truth. Anyone that believes the 2012 doomsday theory is just as crazy as the ones that created the hoax.
I want to thank you for putting up this sight and debunking all the rumors.
Thank you for your logical and well-informed site exposing this hoax. I am sending this link to many of my friends.
For those of you who criticize about how they only quote 1 or 2 children becoming fearful from the hype - trust me, MANY MANY adults are also becoming scared. I can't tell you how many of my adult, well-educated (college and beyond) friends and acquaintances are asking me about this. I can only think they come to me because of my background in math and science (aerospace engineering) as well as my reading in various philosophies (mostly Eastern).
I have told them over and over it all crap (and now I can send them your link) ….
A Spanish Language version of this page is now available, thanks to the efforts of Lourdes Cahuich at http://www.seti.cl

Heiser's : "Sumerian is not connected to any other language."
Interesting, only an academic working for the elites can market his ignorance with such authority.
The word UR means city or important village in Tamil, another Ancient Language.
Mother - Ama in Sumerian, AMMA in Tamil.
ANU = Star/SKy/Primordial Heaven.
ANU = Atom in Sanskrit. Hydrogen prior to the creation of a Star?
Sumerian words are thus found in Sanskrit and Tamil, two ancient Indian languages. Vedic History records myths very similar to the Enuma Elish.
Brilliant job by Erik Parker. It takes guts to debunk a debunking shill of the establishment or ["Network" according to Don Bradley] which does not want humanity to awaken to their Extra Terrestrial origins.
And, thank you always Mr. Sitchin for opening the eyes of humanity and saving us from Darwinist Disinformers.

Heiser's : "Sumerian is not connected to any other language."

Before parroting what others have said perhaps you should have read what Heiser actually wrote and then you wouldn't make a mistake:
"Sumerian is a linguistic isolate, a language which is not closely connected
to any other language family."
and a 'Linguistic Isolate' is : "...(a language) that has not been demonstrated to descend from an ancestor common with any other language. "
The fact that other cultures may borrow from that language is neither here or there as he is talking about how Sumerian developed as a language.
