Baalbek - Giant City (of Giants?)

My favorite megalithic site would have to be the City of Baalbek, most of the stones used to construct the foundations of the city could be considered megalithic, which include some stones weighing over 1000 tonnes:

The entire city is of megalithic proportions.

I've read that construction was began on the city by the atlanteans, as they were trying to create a race of giants, construction was interrupted due to a cataclysmic event, various cultures from that point on took claim to the city, such as the Romans, who renamed it Heliopolis- City of The Sun.

The columns appear somewhat roman in style, but they are far beyond the Romans capability of construction, they may well have been re-carved into Roman style by the Romans, they never claimed to construct the city however.

Baalbek in it's totality dwarfs Roman constructions such as the collosium, which doesn't even contain any megaliths.

Baalbek also dwarfs the megaliths contained within the great pyramidm the heaviest stones used in construction of the pyramid weighing 40 tonnes.

We have no force on earth that could utilise blocks weighing over 1000 tonnes in construction, it's doubtful we could move something that heavy in one piece.

It would likely be impossible to even utilise some of the lighter 900 800 700 600 500 400 300 200 100 tonne blocks used in the construction of baalbek.

A city that defies historical and modern technology, seemingly forgotten.

I need some opinions on baalbek.

It is a powerful piece of empirical evidence for a channeling source being accurate.

While i don't hang on every word, i read a lot of information from a channeling source that claimed to be the human race in a more evolved non physical from.

Here is what they said about baalbek:

Q: Who built the city of Baalbek?

A: Antereans and early Sumerians. We meant Atlanteans. [Who are the Antereans]
Q: What is the reason for the enormous proportions of this building?

A: Giants.

Q: Who were the giants?

A: Genetic effort to recreate Nephalim.

Q: What technical means did they use to cut the stones and transport them?

A: Sound wave focusing.

Q: What happened to interrupt or halt the building of this city?

A: Venus first appearance and pass.

Curiously, it would seem that not one Roman emperor ever claimed credit for the Baalbek temple complex or for the construction of its massive foundations.[12]

Similarly, we find no evidence for Roman construction among the local people. What we do find instead are legends which suggest that Baalbek was built by super-human powers in an epoch long before human civilisation began.

The Arabs believed that Baalbek once belonged to the legendary Nimrod, who ruled this area of Lebanon. According to an Arabic manuscript, Nimrod sent giants to rebuild Baalbek after the Flood. Another legend states that Nimrod rebelled against Yahweh and built the Tower of Babel here, in order to ascend to Heaven and attack his God. Earlier in this tale, Nimrod had been visited by Abraham, who came as a messenger of God to warn Nimrod of punishment for his sins. But Nimrod, vexed by these threats, had cast Abraham into a blazing furnace (from which the latter somehow emerged unscathed).[13]

The local Muslims believed that it was beyond the capability of humans to move the enormous stones of Baalbek. Instead of giants, however, they credited the work to demons or djinn. Muslim tradition states that Baalbek was once the home of Abraham, and later of Solomon. It is also suggested that the prophet Elijah was taken into Heaven from Baalbek - upon a steed of fire.[14]

Other legends associated Baalbek with the Biblical figure of Cain - the son of Adam - claiming that he built it as a refuge after his god Yahweh had cursed him. According to Estfan Doweihi, the Maronite Patriarch of Lebanon: 'Tradition states that the fortress of Baalbek... is the most ancient building in the world. Cain, the son of Adam, built it in the year 133 of the creation, during a fit of raving madness. He gave it the name of his son Enoch and peopled it with giants who were punished for their iniquities by the flood.'[15]

I feel like i am at breaking point, through out all of my "discoveries" during my"awakening" i have done my best to remain as down to earth as possible to appease a great many possible interpretations of the data I've collected, determined there was some great picture to realise, a great truth, but unwilling to release my attachment to the mentality of my peers.

The whole we evolved from monkeys, the meaning of life is to have fun, attain social status and reproduce concept, makes sense, but for some reason i have this drive to know more, i really sense there is something to know, at times it feels as if it's tearing me apart.

Baalbek is just about the only absolutely unexplainable empirical evidence i can call on to support my ideas, it also gives some credibility to a channel source i used to draw heavily from in developing my ideas.

That is that we are manipulated etherically and psychologically by hyperdimensional beings(reptilians among others), because mankind fell from grace, into energetic vibrational sync with the hierarchical self-serving conscious polarity system, from the non self serving consciousness polarity system.

I want to know if i am being unreasonable in believing what i do...

Baalbek has always fascinated me! Indeed...that's some labor INTENSIVE building that went on. Aside from ego, (size matters) etc...one HAS to wonder about the true motivation to build such grandiose and beautiful constructs.

Yes baalbeck one of those typicaly avoided by academics etc .

note on those pictures on the opening page that most buildings and monuments have larger stones at the bottom .

this was said to be in relation to the fact that those buildings were built by an ancient civilisation , then many thousands of years later other civilisations put smaller blocks on top of them in an attempt to rebuild them .

Makes sense when you think about it, where better to put the foundations of a new building down, than on something already solid and perfectly level.
