MI5 and the police may be allowed to secretly collect genetic samples from items such as cigarette butts and teacups under new laws that could massively expand the national DNA database.

The powers would allow investigators to break in to suspects’ homes to collect DNA which could then be shared with foreign governments to check for links to crime and terrorism.

The new law, being discussed by Parliament, would mean the ‘stolen’ samples – thousands of which have already been taken by the security services – would be admissible in court and at a stroke hugely expand the Government’s controversial DNA database.

Depends on the term terrorism, seems that it is a pretty broad term which takes in almost everything, their only aim is to have everyone on the database so do what you can not to leave a trace anywhere. I can seriously see the police going into pubs swabbing glasses and plates.

If they do end up doing that, would anyone say hey wait a minute this is wrong on so many levels.

But the police will just say get back to your pint, I'm busy being a fascist.
This is such a scary thought but the general public will still discuss shit such as what happened on tv last night, or football results.

Secretly collecting DNA is sooooo weird and obviously a bad thing.
You cannot trust anyone in a cafe or restaurant anymore, they may be out terrorist hunting.

There have been 2 major terrorist attacks in the last 8 years, but they want us to believe we are all somehow involved in terrorism as if it happened every minute of the day.

Terrorism is just the excuse to give everyone arguido status, everyone's guilty of something, they just haven't been caught yet. That's what the ruling classes think.
