It seems to me, the new age and other areas are under serious revision.
Ive seen more poems on the new age site i post on, than channels. People are opening up.
Same goes for here. Theres not so much chicken little stuff anymore (ull be chipped tommorrow!).
Do u think its helped us grow?

I think thats more a political and social thing and its likely tied in with the sun and energy.

Spiritual growth in the sense of making some of the people sucked in by Oct. 14th a bit more mature and discerning, yeah, hopefully.
If another one of these obvious scams pops up in the next few years, you'd expect it to have less of a delusional impact on public consciousness.

Nope it has just made people more sceptical about channellers. People may feel inspired when they feel something is close and that can manifest in their lives but when the let down occurs they just feel cheated. Spiritual growth happens day by day through individual effort not by hope pinned on ET intervention.
I think it killed some brain cells.

Id call skepticism about saviours and guru/masters to be growth.
Sure, that aint the end, but its a first step in a journey of trusting ur inner voice over someone who is just blabbing about nothing.
Being cheated is growth IMO, as is any kinda reality slap in the face. Still remains to be seen how far lesson might be taken.....
I guess i shudnt care, but id just love to see humanity grow up and get a clue - no leaders, no saviours, no "facts", no authority of any kind.

It is wise to use discernment on channelings. Not all are trustful and either lie or some are only telling part of the truth and leave out important info. For example the Blossom channeling where the channeler either left out the delay option by her own choice or was too excited and didnt pay attention to the whole channeling OR it was a completely hoax (you to decide for yourself).
I am not sure if there is a spiritual growth here. Should it be?
Care to explain what you mean by it?
