Is Humanity evolutionary Doomed

If dinosaurs were wiped out not because they were not sucsessful but did not have the ability to detect and prevent a metoer/astroid from hitting the planet?

in having the ability to make tools/technology that has propelled us and could prevent this form happning again? Has is also cursed/doomed us?

I.e
A)create the technology that destroys us
B) that controls us
C) eventualy replaces us?

our environmental and living conditions are fluid, constantly changing. this means that we are here now, because it is how it is now. it seems stable and ordered to us, but it isn't and it isn't because it's not supposed to be. we are not going to be here forever. don't panic though, it's ok.
