Here's an idea... What if there really isn't "an "imbalance" in the Divine Feminine, what if there has been a type of hologram of an imbalance created within the "Divine Masculine" which resulted in a behavior of fear which has been perpetuated by abandonement? What if women had the power to change the lives of the image stereotypes, anhorexia, bullemic young women in the world? All we would have to do is change our beliefs and release our fears that are connected to how we define "Beauty".
Working in the spa/salon business in the past I've seen a lot of behavior indicating that some women are not only fearful of not being attractive, many are frantic. It goes waaaaaay back in time of course and its not exactly a behavior limited to the species. The animal kingdom ejoys being attractive too. There is a creation of fear that perpetuates a kind of negative mantra: "If I am not beautiful, I will be rejected, abandoned, unloved".... it has been a device which has been implanted within the conciousness of women and perpetuated by the media, fashion and beauty industry. This is both chemically and spiritually toxic. There is a fear behind striving to be as attractive as possible in order to find a man, a mate, a husband... Dear Goddess, what have we done!
Everyone wants to be attractive, I have a Libra rising in my chart, I understand completely but I've finally shifted out of the old format and into something more independant. I see this fear in women everywhere and it is not only a distraction from their own power and unique creative expression, it is numbing the mind into forgetfulness of what beauty truly is. Re-defining beauty is very important now. When women realize what beauty truly is men will acknowledge the divine feminine balance within themselves. How does that happen? Women have to be the ones to make the change, it is up to us. When women respect and honor "themselves" and release the self worth issues of not being pretty enough, slim enough, whatever..., the result will be contagious. When we respect ourselves we will be respected by others. That includes men. We are together in this holographic mind-field. We need each other and genders have been isolated from one another consciously in many ways. Some people may prefer it that way because it is what we have become accustomed to.
The truth of the matter is that we are not even close to hitting the consciousness mark when consciousness of genders continues to be isolated and separate. I'm not sure how to go about changing society's definition of a word or a category or a belief, but I know in my heart that the answer to a lot of questions is found hiding there....
