(I created a thread similar to this in the general section but I thought it would be more appropriate here)
Now I'm turning 20 in two weeks, and from the 19 years of life experience I've gathered, there is something in me that I really wanted to talk about. I never actually mentioned it to anyone except to the close family, so I might as well try to shed light on it in here, and I hope anyone in the forum who is very strong spiritually could explain this phenomenon to me, maybe walk me through my instinct and perhaps enhance it if possible.
Ever since I was young, I could feel negative energy from certain people. I don't know if many of you have experienced this, but there are people out there that I encounter (some daily even) that have this really bad vibe of energy flowing through them, and I feel it. And ever since I started deep meditation a few years ago, I feel like they try to drain my "extra" energy away, like energy vampires. They try to get really close to me and keep contact.
These are normal people, people I go college with, people at work, even my ex in the past relationship.
Concerning these specific people in college, when I talk to them and I try to bond with them, I feel like they want to drain my energy away, and fill me with their negative energy. If I spend too much time around them I feel nervous, agressive, stressed and depressed afterwards, and most of the times I medidate for about 25 minutes to heal myself.
In my previous relationship, once I got really close (spiritually) with my girlfriend through love, I felt as if she was completely empty, soulless, for some reason. It looked like I was the only one providing this love energy in the couple and she would just leech off it in order to pass through the day and make herself happy. The days she wouldnt see me made her really depressed, so she really ran after me and held kind of a possessive grip on me. She even proposed to me last summer (remember I'm 19). So as soon I start noticing this, that's when most of our problems emerged and I stopped loving her. Well from there things got bad to worst, that's when it was HER turn to fill me with extremely horrific energy and It really got me, it made me really aggressive and irritative. Down the line our relationship started to get a bit violent, she blamed me for hitting her so she cheated on me and left with the other guy. Sometimes after a date (specially at the end of the relationship) I had to meditate for a long time before I could actually "feel" myself again. She was probably the worst kind of energy I came across (perhaps because I got this close to her and couldn't have any privacy of my own)
My conclusion to that was Indeed love prevails over dark, but when love is gone that's when negativity reigns.
Now I hope you guys know that I am not a weirdo or anything, and that on the contrary I am a very very nice and joyful person. I have extreme amount of positive energy after meditation and I share it with a lot people, maybe one of the reasons I might have such a big entourage (popular) ? (just an example, did not mean to brag).
Does anyone know what I am talking about ? How u can just feel that dark energy in someone and u want to run away from them as far as possible? It seems actually impossible trying to bond with them, I have tried several times but failed.
