To me it's obvious. Hitler had very distinctive eyes and Merkel's are near identical. The shape of the chin and spacing of the mouth from the chin are also extremely close. The jawline, the nose, the eyebrows, all a very close match. It's hard to understand how someone could see it so differently, but that's perception for you.

I dunno, that makes perfect sense to me. You cannot believe everything is true just because it's possible. If it's not outside the realms of possibility, you should keep an open mind about it, but you don't have to believe it's true. It's up to each one of us to do further research so that we don't absorb other people's opinions as our own. Without solid knowledge on which to base our opinions, it's still the same indoctrination, no matter how well intended.

The key is to KNOW these things for yourself, which means you have to be active in your own enlightenment. We cannot wait for people to spoon feed us, because we don't REALLY know what we're been fed.

Jeez I can't take it. If there's one thing I've learned about features and faces, it's that people's ability to identify them is like an on/off switch. Either they know how to do it, or they don't. If there are no blatant similarities right away --essentially if the essence of the face is inconsistent-- then there is no relation. You can talk to me about nose width and trivial details all day and it won't change that fact that if there isn't similarity on the whole --and right off the bat-- then the details are meaningless.

I honestly don't notice any similarity at all, and I am excellent with faces. I don't buy it.

1. They have DIFFERENT noses.

2. Merkel is BLOND and Hitler is NOT. And remeber - a man claims that she is his DAUGHTER. :)

3. The shape of her skull is VERY different from Hitlers'.
Merkel has a so-called block type of head which is very typical for the Baltic people.

Regarding her hair color: What do YOU think? To me, the blonde color looks obviously dyed and the brown looks real, but I don't fucking know for sure. How could I? Everyone wants to adopt positions and fight about them with fallacious arguments peppered with insults.
