It is sweetened with a blend of aspartame and acesulfame potassium, unlike regular Diet Coke which only contains aspartame. Diet Coke Plus was introduced in April 2007 in select areas for test marketing.
Each 8-ounce serving of Diet Coke Plus provides 15% of the daily value for niacin and vitamins B6 and B12, and 10% for zinc and magnesium.

and, even if you tell them that aspartame is a deadly neurotoxin that creates brain tumors, and even if you give them a CD that contains "sweet misery" footage -- even then, they keep ignoring your attempts to awaken them to the dangers of aspartame.
but, i got 2 guys to stop drinking the aspartame garbage/poison, one was so afraid to see the video that he stopped drinking the poison, so all is not in vain.
interesting thing is that i see now children who on their way to school are drinking "monster drinks" full of god knows what!
this is trully scary! what will happen with those kids in 20 years years or less?
i shudder by just thinking of it.

They'll be mindless drones. I don't let up on anyone that I see drinking diet drinks. Good thing here in the South, is that a lot of people drink iced tea, and usually its pre-sweetened with sugar or a syrup. I drink mine just plain. But, even with strangers I will say "...you should rethink what you're putting into your body....that stuff is filled with chemicals that kill your brain cells and give you cancer....so just imagine yourself 20 years from now...with something like Alzheimer's and someone having to wipe your pooper for your because your brain doesn't work anymore..."
I'm beyond being polite about this BS. The loomies sure aren't polite about destroying us, and nobody seems to mind one little bit.

Yeah!! and I shake my head in amazement at kids drinking sport drinks (made by Coca Cola) and/or energy drinks such as Red Bull. WTF???? Most of them are sitting on their backside playing games. Sport? hahaha. Why do the need energy or to replace electrolytes??? What are their parents thinking of?

I asked her if she drank diet drinks and she said no but she uses an artificial sweetener for her cereal and coffee. I had a look at it and, yes, it was aspartame. i explained to her some of the side effeects and she told me that her doctor had said she would be better off using a little sugar.
Yaaayy!! lets hear it for Doc, one of the few not brainwashed.

Im so greatful my family and their friends where hippies and I got to grow up eating beansprouts and whole rice:D , imagine how terrible some kids today must feel physicaly and they dont even know they are supposed to feel any different.

It shocks me how uneducated the majority of the populace is. It is certainly a sad time for human affairs when myself at 22 has more information and knowledge about the world around me than most 30 to 60 year olds.
I was working in a cafe a few years back and one of the ladies their was desperate to loose weight, she would complain of it constantly, how she whould try this or that and nothing seemed to work, and she was in fact putting weight on.
It did'nt take me long to see the vile murderer in the shape of wood alchohol hiding ever so seductively in that can of Diet Coke. So I approached her about it told her that it has been linked to more than 96 adverse health conditions, the history of how Rumsfield and his cronies got it approved despite obvious risks to the health and you know what I got for my troubles......."So what, thats rubbish....I'm not going to give it up I like it to much etc etc etc"
I almost fainted at this level of ignorance. Guess what she said when I told her that cancer is totally curable no matter what form it takes........"When its time for people to die, it's their time, we should let them be".

This world is insane and I agree, sugar coating information is not part of the equation, we need to step up our game and tell the sleeping sheeple the way it is. I have been doing this for years and am at the point now where if debated I have the knowledge and wit to shatter there illusions.

Stick to black coffee without sugar if you wan't a caffeine hit and pure fruit juice for vitamins. Alot of fruit juice in Supermarkets have added sugar and sweetners, I've picked stuff up gotten home then shit myself when I've read the ingredients make sure you read the label first before buying.
Theres a good drink called V8 juice, it's 100% fruit contains 8 different types of fruit and veg. :) My sister won't allow her kids to drink fizzy pop.

V8 is good stuff, but nothing beats fresh fruit juice, we got a good natural one here, a bit more expensive, but well worth it.

I drank diet coke up untill a while ago when i had a bottle of apple tango when comin home from uni and i had a massive allergic reaction to it- my body went mental and i came up with blisters all over and very red inflamed skin, hot to touch, it was horrid- went to the dr as could no longer take the pain/discomfort and it took 2wks to get out my system- the dr suggested i dont drink apple tango anymore so i cut out fizzy drinks full stop but then the vodka-d/coke got me as that's 'my' drink and i had some one night- ended up with a vile headache and felt very unwell- now i cut them out completely- just goes to show- my body is telling me itself- this stuff is not good for me!! :)

Man, this is just crazy. The shit that these people get away with. The worst thing is, like a lot of you said, is that people think its healthy for em. I remember a lot of people that are on "diets" include diet-coke or diet-sprite or diet-x in their "diet" and think they are doing themselves good........
