I keep hearing on the news today that our beloved councils aparantly invested over a billion pounds of our money into Icelandic banks.
What the fuck?
Why would our councils who are squeezing us for every lost penny by parking charges, cameras, council tax, etc and are giving us less and less services like two weekly bin collections, why would they firstly have a spare billion anyway and why would they stick it into an Icelandic bank.
This is a conspiracy ofcourse, they are trying to destroy Iceland and force Iceland to join the EUSSR.
Iceland would be sensible to resist this and tell these councils to stick their money. Much better for Iceland to take the £5 billion offered by Russia

My council has lost £50 m. What I want to know is why are they keeping £50M of our cash in the bank when they've just closed down a local school.

Exactly, these councils are supposed to be skint so why are they holding on to this money which could be used to improve services or provide council tax cuts?
This is totally ridiculous that this has to have been planned.
Most councils try and show themselves to be ethical and usually used to keep their money with Cooperative Bank. But ofcourse since Labour came in everything went upside down.
Iceland is not in the EUSSR so i wonder if it is even allowed for councils to stick OUR money ofshore. Like putting it in Swizterland. Transport for London loses £40 million. Must be all those conjestion charges. I do have a problem as to why they were all stashing this money away when they are all supposed to be public service providers.

A reporter was interviewing a guy from the council on the news earlier and said "why was the money put into the Iceland bank"?... The guy from the council said...."Because thats what the 'government' told us to do."

UK seizes icelands assets under anti terror laws,it just gets better,:D
Gordon Brown criticised Iceland's ''illegal action''
Prime Minister Gordon Brown has condemned Iceland's handling of the collapse of its banks and its failure to guarantee British savers' deposits.
He said its action were "effectively illegal" and "completely unacceptable".
The UK government has frozen all UK-held assets of the Icelandic bank Landsbanki after it collapsed.
Iceland's prime minister Geir Haarde said it was "not very pleasant" to learn that anti-terror laws were being used to deal with the company.
Landsbanki, one of many banks hit heavily by the global credit crunch, was taken over by the Icelandic government and declared insolvent on Tuesday.
The 300,000 UK customers of its subsidiary IceSave were unable to access their accounts.
'Further action'
UK Chancellor Alistair Darling later announced that all UK savers affected would be protected.
But the government has not yet offered the same for more than £900m known to have been invested in Icelandic banks by UK councils, police and transport authorities.
In an interview with BBC political editor Nick Robinson, Mr Brown said the government was talking with local authorities about what could be done and intended to recover as much money as possible.
He added: "What happened in Iceland is completely unacceptable. I've been in touch with the Icelandic prime minister. I said this is effectively illegal action that they have taken.
They have failed not only the people of Iceland; they have failed people in Britain
Gordon Brown on Icelandic authorities
Councils 'not reckless with cash'
"We are freezing the assets of Icelandic companies in the United Kingdom where we can. We will take further action against the Icelandic authorities wherever that is necessary to recover money."
He added: "This is fundamentally a problem with the Icelandic-registered financial services authority - they have failed not only the people of Iceland, they have failed people in Britain."
Mr Haarde, asked if he felt there was a crisis in relations between Britain and Iceland, said: "I thought so for a few minutes this morning when I realised that a terrorist law was being applied against us.
"That was not very pleasant. I'm afraid that not many governments would have taken that very kindly, to be put in that category and I told the chancellor that we were not pleased with that."
But he said he had cleared up a number of issues with Mr Darling.

UK seizes icelands assets under anti terror laws
I thought this was a joke.
Until i saw some Labour twat talking about it on tv.
This is unbelievable that all the assets of Iceland have been frozen in the UK.
Even North Korean assets are not frozen.
Gordon Brown has gone way OTT,
I guess this was the plan, make all those public bodies stick the money into Landsbank and then use that as justification to destroy Iceland.

As David Icke said they are getting impatient and this is the reason for the 'quickening' we are now seeing.
Apparantly the councils are blaming John Prescot who advised/instructed them to plonk our money outside the UK.
But i reckon the finance directors of these organisations must all be Common Purpose clones or something.
Because even using chaos theory it is still impossible for all that money to have ended up where it did.
Bypassing all the big UK and EU banks,
Bypassing all the building societies many with strong local links.
Bypassing Unity Trust, Cooperative Bank, etc.
This is all deliberate.
Even the Metroplitan police has stuck £30 million in.
Iceland and Norway are beacons of independance from the EUSSR.
Who would like to wager Norway - the richest country per capita in the whole world will be next for the Chop?
