Ambient Mix

I used to DJ psytrance and parties up until 2003 when the car my decks were in got nicked and used in a ram raid. I never bothered to replace them and gave the whole thing up. Last year when out of work for a while I took it up again but for the most part stuck to ambient/chill/ethno music which has always been a passion of mine ever since I was 5 years old and discovered that those funny black circles could make funny sounds when placed on a turntable. I grew up mesmerised by Mike Oldfield, Tangerine Dream and Pink Floyd.

Last week while bored I made myself a nice little ambient mix so I'm going to share it here for those that like this kind of music. It's mostly rare Woob (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woob), some Orb and other stuff I don't know where the hell I got from. Ambient textures, a bit dubby with some ethnic vox thrown into the mix. Great stuff! listening to Volume 1 now, then I'll move onto Volume 2.

I like ambient stuff, I'm a musician myself, and I've been writing ambient soundtrack stuff recently, mostly synth based atmospheric stuff. I'll get some up on the net when I get a moment.
