ASTEROID IMPACT: Asteroid 2008 TC3 hit Earth this morning (Oct. 7th at 0243 UT), exploding in the atmosphere over northern Sudan like a kiloton of TNT. Most of the 3-meter-wide asteroid should have been vaporized in the atmosphere with only small pieces reaching the ground as meteorites. So far, no pictures of the fireball have been submitted; the impact occured in a remote area with few (and possibly no) onlookers capable of recording the event. Nevertheless, the asteroid did strike Earth as predicted.

On the 7th of october entered a about 2 meters sized meteroite the earth athmosphere over the north of Sudan and broke apart. It's still unknown yet if fractions of the object arrived the earth ground as meteorites.

No onlookers, no one to photograph the asteroid, or to say, "hey, that's not an asteroid..."
Odd, that of all the places it could have come down has been was of the most sparsly populated areas.

Now it's confirmed by multiple sources.
There should be coming more of them, not to mention that an object of this size does not come alone.

Well, I think it's a possibility. The question then is: What kind of weapon was it?

If this was the first one that they knew about before it hit earth (as it says in the OP link), why was nothing recorded on it? I would've thought they'd want to witness it having that knowledge & surely with all the satellites & stuff out there, they could've seen it if they wanted to?

Oh, you're right! If this is such a special event, why didn't hubble or any of the other stations get to record anything? This reeks...

Yep, it does. I'd agree with the 'weapon test' theory.

Yeah that's what I thought too. It must be a dead easy for them to record something like this with prior knowledge about it. Defo something odd imo! Be interesting to learn more about the precise location...

Maybe it's a sign of the wormwood asteroid in revelation coming soon.
It is weird that the articles about this have said to be sure to not think it's any bombing or explosions. This is pretty suspicious.

That's not a meteor, it looks like whatever it was has stopped and the objects have changed direction, they are moving downward instead of breaking up on the original trajectory.

Maybe they shot down the UFO that was going to show up on the 14th.

hmm...that is a creepy picture.
Even if it exploded over a remote area, you would think that it could be seen for many miles ripping into the atmosphere.
My brother is on a ship out off the coast of that area...I will email him and ask him if he saw anything.

I have never heard of an exploding asteroid?
This is not an asteroid in that picture. they dont fragment like that and a blue streek is never apparent.
it could be the laser wepon they are developing.
maybe they blew up a disused satilight?

1. Toutatis(Teutates) is one of the 3 celtic gods
2. Protected by Toutatis, Asterix and his friends fear nothing except the idea of the sky falling on their heads.

very spooky picture - if its real one
is it the only photo of this event?
