Subliminal messaging in Movies

Hello (from a newbie), :)

I am interested in your views on subliminal messaging in movies and movie advertising.
This subject has been analysed quite a bit already on youtube - i.e. 'adampants2007' videos on Harry Potter, and others, so I am not claiming to have 'discovered' anything new.

But from watching these vids it inspired me to start looking for myself to see what I could find.
My wife gets a couple of monthly fashion mags, so the other day I was flicking through one of them, 'Red' magazine October 2008, and came across a poster there for the film 'The Women', starring Meg Ryan. On page 163 or 164 I think.

The poster is of 5 women shown fairly close up. Meg Ryan is at the forefront with her hair in ringlets. I just looked over the image and after a couple of minutes noticed the words 'GAY SEX' in the picture. The first word is above the second. The tail of the Y leading down to the X.
The words are in Meg Ryan's hair, low down on the left, just below collar bone level. To me this is a very blatant one, and associating 'gay sex' in a poster with 5 attractive women could seem plausible.

However I do wonder if I am going insane and just imagining it :rolleyes:

You are definitely not going crazy.. This stuff is everywhere. You ask what extent it has got to? Well just look at society atm. Theyre are excelling at this type of sorcery, most peoples minds are completely co-opted, even on this forum

Your unconscious mind sees it ALL and you might not even know that you saw it, but your mind did and it absorbed it all.

I don't watch much tv. I prefer to have my music on and I research my interests on the web instead.

I watched far too much dumbed down tv while I was still married and in a set domestic routine. I've broken free :)

I'm still not convinced we live in a matrix manipulated by a small group of elite who play mind games with us.

Yeah it could all be a coincidence that the word SEX appears in all our movies, adverts and TV shows.

I don't watch TV at all, just a handful of shows that I download and watch WHEN I SAY SO, so I am not stuck in routine bullshit, I live for the day as free as we're allowed to.

It would be truly astounding that a small group of Elite are doing head fuck things to us, but in my opinion this is exactly what's happening. There is enough written and documented about mind-control and the manipulation of us by the media to make it a closed case in my mind. But we are all allowed our own opinions of course. :)

Do you see the word SEX anywhere in the Batman picture above? Relax your eyes and you can see them. This has really interested me over the last few days and I am looking for subliminals everywhere. Mad shite! :D

All these women have a word sex written on their faces a few times. The woman with a phone has also some long word written on her forehead right bellow the hairline, but I can't tell what it spells exactly since the letters are way too small. It's not easy to see because it's very transparent. It's like when you set brush opacity in photoshop to 3%. In fact, I can't see it on my PC even knowing it's there, but on my laptop, when I tilt the screen backwards all the words just jump up.

What I have learned after studying this stuff for the last 3 weeks is that there is alot of overlap on the letters. Also zooming in showed random smaller letters plastered all over, almost like pixels. It seemed like they were using multiple overlays. This was on larger images of bush, clintin, gore etc. After about a week they become obvious, but still hard to put together(except for "sex"). There is alot of distraction for the conscious mind to handle. Image patterns become discernable but putting them together is hard due to all the chaos within and around it. But I can pick out heads with eyes, nose, mouth. Sometimes they seem to meld into another one, which of course is distracting and confusing. There are PATTERNS that obviously are not words or natural.
The images are there, and I think they are actually manifesting on peoples face, body, and even possibly their clothes. I know they are on me, just a few "sex" and images on my neck, forehead, cheeks, just about everywhere.
It's possible my mind has been imprinted to see these things, maybe I'm under attack, and they're trying to drive me "crazy", or convince me they possess me. I don't know what or why, maybe it's the damaged child in me trying to tell me something. Maybe it's my ego trying to hurt my self-image and hijack my soul.
A friend took pictures of the main spots and will see if I can make sense of it then. I havn't tried to get someone to confirm it yet, it's kind of a touchy subject.
Ultimately I'm not going to sweat it too much, because ultimately, I am not my body, I am much, much more. And my soul is mine, it's not for sale or stealing.

That is extremely helpful what you did to highlight the subliminal text. Can you do that with other images?
I can't see any other "sex" words in the woman ad. I also don't see anything in the batman image.
And any other examples of subliminals - I would love to see them.

I can see what you are talking about here. Tilting the laptop screen so that I am looking at it from below, say by about 40 - 45 degrees seems to bring out different layers of lines. As you say it is not easy, and I am trying not make words out of a bunch of facial lines. But I think this could be a way to make the transparency show up more prominently, and definitely worthy of further study.

Yes you are breaking their spell if you can start looking at things and quickly pull the subliminals out..However, 'sex' is not the only thing they use...

Also ... a poster mentioned that he was seeing things written on his own face as well... Lets just say its not all photoshop

The preoccupation with "sex" results in sexualization/objectification. Which of course is not conducive to love or spiritual and emotional growth. It's going in the opposite direction. It's a focus on body identity, and can produce self-hate among a myriad of other unhealthy things.

Is it my imagination or does Meg Ryan have a circle on her forehead with a pentagram inside? The woman with the phone has an upside down pyramid under her hairline and some sort of symbol to the right of this. This is fun, i can't watch tv or read mags properly anymore, too busy looking for subliminals.
