I noticed this in 2007 whilst working in a shop..They are indeed having a laugh it seems. Almost as if to say to us "Look, we know you know about us, but we're still going to place our symbolism everywhere...just to get under your skin!" LOL :D

There is something interesting about the £5 note, a good clean fresh one. Look at the blank space on the back where the Queen's head is watermarked then tilt it so that a strong light is hitting it at an angle. What do you see?

Edit, took a picture of one, the damn things already got a couple of creases so ignore the line below the eye on your right and the nearly vertical one.

Just scowered a £5er. Couldnt make out what you were refering to. What I did see was the image on the left. I small group of well dressed rich people in the light, reading from a book to a group of peasants looking distressed on who are in the dark!

also both a 5 and ten pound note designs are centred aroung a "sun" type image at the top.

I worked this one out myself a while back ive been drawing in the lines on all my twentys was surprised this is the first mention of it I just assumed it was known.

They appear to have extrapolated a line out either side from the smaller complete line just underneath the central 'rose'.

There appears to me to be several possible pyramidal shapes that could be completed in the same way.

I'd file it under suspicious............

i can see exactly what he's done. krakhead pointed out that the lines were extrapolated, but you can see that if you do this with the left line, the line joins to the britannia badge perfectly, at the exact point where it touches the bottom line. the right line joins up with the biggest pearl on the queens necklace
