I've been writing poetry for over a few years now. I think I've been writing song parody lyrics longer than that. I like to think that I'm pretty good, and that I'm always improving. One day I'll publish some of my poems. I just have to sort them out first! Mostly my poetry is freestyle.
How about I start with two recent poems? This first one is what I wrote after I started reading up about the reptilians for a while. I wanted to start writing about them, and this is the result. Positive feedback and criticism are always welcome. :)
We Are Definitely Not Alone
Secretly plotting
Manipulating in the shadows
Penning in their cattle silently
Promoting violence and mayhem
Preparing to enslave
Controlling the government
Controlling politics
Controlling the media
Controlling education
Controlling religion
Performing experiments
Having intercourse with us
In constant contact with hybrids
Shape shifting and moving incognito
Possessing the bodies of mankind
Doing as they please
Feeding off emotions and hormones
Drinking blood
Like drugs
Swiftly they move
Weeding into human society
Infiltrating...
Deceiving...
Dominating...
Under our noses, they dwell
Behind the veil, they hide
In our dreams, they influence
Disguised as neighbors and family, they monitor
They’re everywhere, nationwide
They’ve built their cities underground
There’s a part of them in all of us
There’s more of them in some of us
They’ve been among us
They’ve lived alongside us
For centuries they’ve evolved with us
We must expose their plots
We must seek them out
We must arrest the traitors
We must question our world’s leaders
We must not let them win!
Beware
Be cautious
Protect your loved ones
I pray to hopefully not face one
As I boldly go deeper into the rabbit hole
Learning about the big dark secrets of this world.
The next one is over a few months old. Maybe a number of you can relate to this one too.
No Time
I cannot rely
On the likes of you
The game of guilt
I won't play
I have no time for disappointments
I have no time for your immaturity
I have no time to let myself get riled up
I pray for you
To grow up one day
For now, I can
Manage without you
I have no time to try and fix things
I have no time to argue
I have no time to prove anything to you
Goodbye for a while
Hopefully not for forever
In time, maybe
You'll be granted forgiveness
I have no time to worry
I have no time to regret
Just...no time for you at all.
