Folks, I need to earn a crust like all of us and as a result have an interview with Coca Cola Enterprises (UK) for a job, this week. They have asked me to research and present for 5mins on the following brief;

"What challenges does CCE face within the independent sector in 2009?"

I can think of, obviously, the global credit issue as a whole, increasing pressures relating to recycling/green issues and from research I've done already, the public are increasingly getting into these energy/health drinks etc. rather than your sugared up carbonated stuff. What exactly do they mean also, "the independent sector?"

Any ideas and thanks in advance:)

I think you're right on with increasing pressures to recycle and things along those lines. Independent sector I believe are like volunteer groups and the like.

Independent sector - Maybe the growing anti-corporate attitude in the young. I'm nurturing my son to be more aware of the ways of the corporation and to support local producers more.

I would also think that the growing awareness of what SHITE they put in their drinks is one of the bigger problems as it means ripping up the recipe bible and starting over again. (Aspartame etc.)

Good luck with the interview.
