Yeah, those are interesting articles Adra, especially the islamic vp centred one. All systems are ultimately corruptable: and its well worth remembering that the "eastern" path is all Matrix religion too.

Thanks for this link. When I walked to work this morning I was thinking about someone I met who told me about a man from India lighting fire with his Chi powers. I thougt "It would be cool to see that on Youtube". And here we go :) Coincidences, of couse... not :)

That is weird........I started the thread because I was thinking about the guy who bends the spears leaning against his throat. The last time I saw it was about 5 years ago easily.....just popped into my head again today. One conciousness indeed:D

no offense auron, but that's exactly what it is, imo: a parlor trick.

how is this any different than sai baba materializing baubles and vibhuti for the "unwashed"?

i really don't mean to be a humorless prig; i just think basing one's spiritual path on things like this can be a distraction, at best.

i should know...

i started practising qi gong about 12 years ago, after seeing something like this on tv. had i seen ad's post back then, who knows if i would have started? maybe i am mind-controlled and don't know it, but i would have missed a helluva ride along the way lol.

qi gong has helped me with becoming comfortable in my body after half a lifetime of family and personal abuse.

concurrently, over the same time, i have been on a path of mental/emotional 'clearing' of blocks, attachment, and fear. the path has been rocky, filled with detours and diversions, but i'm happier now than at any time in my life. so, if the jinns are leading me down the primrose path, they're doing a miserable job of it. :)

what i'm suggesting is without the latter, one is open to abuse in the former, because this energy, this qi, simply reflects back our belief in who we are and our 'relationship' to the one.

if the answers come from within, as so many of us here believe, then does it not follow that the nightmares must also come from within?

i shared this story on this forum not to impress anyone (i didn't invoke these experiences, they simply arose from the Void and the recesses of subconscious mind), but simply to suggest that:

1) everything is energy,
2) energy is nuetral,
3) until combined with intention.

imho, these "jinns" are simply wisdom mirrors, and reflect back our realized level of Consciousness.
