When I visit my man he always has Sky TV on. I hate it. Every channel is full of bad messeges and nonsense.

Yes and what is even more scary is that Viacom also owns Nickelodeon. If I had a kid I would never, ever let them watch that channel.

I also don't have cable TV and haven't for a bunch of years. I have a TV but only to watch DVD's of CLASSIC films from the 20-50's. You can learn a lot of things by reading between the lines in these classic films. Many of the great directors of Hollywood's golden age were blacklisted in the 50's. I wonder why!!! (sarcastically)

where it says "The holocaust happened to people like us" it almost seems they are referring to future tense, look at it - its modern day and depicting it as things to come.
there have been sooooo many films/shows and adverts pointing to martial law and containment etc. its quite obvious whats coming for america and a large part of the world .

it wasnt just Jews that were put in concentraton camps .... how about what happen to much of the polish? and concentration camps in austria etc. infact im almost willing to say the majority of those in camps were not jewish at all!

I agree, the comment you highlighted could have been worded a little better, so I apologise for that. However, the comment was made *only* in direct response to the sickening content of the MTV video - nothing more.

Please understand that I was talking about (and took great offence to) how the maker's of this video use perverse allusion to a particular horrific event in past history (i.e. to the WWII holocaust); how they are indirectly stating to whom "it" happened to in the past, and intimating (threatening?) to whom "it" might happen to in the future.

I wasn't speaking 'generally', nor about what I personally think or feel about the holocaust. My comments were aimed solely at the maker's of the video; and towards MTV for showing it; and also to vent my anger at 'them' for using that horrific event in history, in such a sick and twisted way, to make some sort of point 'they' are trying to push in this video, so as to threaten and frighten people today with stuff that happened in the past.

In a later post on this thread, I explained that I wasn't being flippant (or disrespectful) in any way about holocaust victims, nor about being Jewish, or not, or being of any other race, or not. I was merely questioning the intent, the integrity of, and the actual point the video is trying to make, and to whom the "us" in this sick 'mass snuff video' is actually referring to?

The videos closing logo states: "The holocaust happened to people like US"

Is the "us" referring to Jews, or is the "us" referring to non-Jews? Or, is the "us" referring to everyone in general today?

I wonder what the reaction would have been if instead of the video maker's ending the film with the statement logo, "The holocaust happened to people like US", it read, "The holocaust happened to people like YOU." I'm sure that the response would have been quite different!!

This MTV video portrays highly emotive, strongly suggestive, very frightening and intimidating scenes of people being rounded up by armed personnel at gunpoint and loaded onto trucks with their hands on their heads. And hyping it up for maximum effect using graphic scenes from the holocaust to get 'their' point across - i.e. 'you will do as you are told, or suffer this.'

Notice how modern day scenes of martial law being enforced (shot in colour), then suddenly revert to black and white footage in a very explicit and poignant way that is obviously meant to resemble some of the harrowing scenes in such films as The Holocaust, and Schindler's List.

It's a very direct and (subliminal) menacing threat - but very cleverly disguised!! i.e. YOU get the message, but 'they' don't get any comeback or public protest, simply by using the words "to us" rather than "to you", but it is really meant to say "it will happen to you."

I found the whole thing completely disgusting and it's beyond me how sick and twisted crap like this NWO propaganda video gets through the film censorship bodies - but I suppose 'they' own the film censorship bodies too, and can easily sanction this sort of garbage through, in order to frighten and intimidate people, using the threat of the horrors of war, and the horrors of the holocaust, to add 100% 'punch' and 'traumatising effect' to it!
