Dunno how to explain dreams- but ive always experienced very vivid dreams and im often left with a very distinct feeling the next day- like they affected me so deeply that they affect me the following day too!
Been having very disturbing dreams of late, feelings of nausea, fear, frustration, acting out of character. All very weird, sometimes i wonder if it was a 'dream' at all and not another reality...just a thought, maybe we go back and connect with our higher selves when we are asleep and by the time we awaken our memories have been wiped and sometimes a dream thrown in to confuse things...??
I'd like more insight into dreams as they definately have a powerful affect on me! I often go back to a similar/familiar world in my dreams, i wonder if maybe ive created another world/reality, similar to this world just far more surreal...whatever it is its weird and ive been back there a lot recently and its not really what i say a dream more of a nightmare!!

Sounds like you're on the right track lottie, I've been through it myself. Some things will become clearer. I don't believe in others reading you're future, but your dreams can show you....I'm certain of this. Theres another thread about dreams on here.

I've always believed that dreams are either you going off to some other dimension of existence, or they're some kind of visual metaphor. Perhaps your sub-conscious showing you things you need to do in life. Maybe all of them.

Learning to have lucid dreams is an amazing thing to do! It means that you "wake up" in your dream, and have total control over what you do. You can do absolutely anything you like!

A great book on how to induce lucid dreams (pdf) :

Stephan LaBerge - Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming (http://www.badongo.net/file/2718432)

Have fun!

Hi themindseye & welcome to the forum :)

I've quite recently started to have more lucid dreams. I can't quite control them totally yet, but it's getting easier the more I experience them. I'm aware that I'm asleep & can sort of steer them to an extent & am not happy when I get woken up by the alarm & I can't carry them on.

Thanks for the link auron, I've downloaded it & will be checking it out, cheers :)

Theres a great free book with loads on Lucid dreaming on wikipedia http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Lucid_Dreaming
About dreams I always laugh when people say "its my dream to do this" that etc. Its your dream? so its not real then! If a dream comes true would you be dreaming? If you die in your sleep how would you know? because you would be dreaming.

I say that what we call "waking reality" , is exactly the same as when you "dream". We just need to realize it! :)

Hello All & Thank's for the reply's,

The reason i put this Question up is I've just experienced
something odd,
Where a dream I had around 20yrs ago has just come true.

This dream has stuck with me all that time as it was so Vivid.

I Can't tell you what the Dream was as it involved lots of Dirty £££,
did I make it happen?
was it Destiny??
Guess i'll never Know,
But I'm Know I'm Gonna have a Nice Summer:D
and i'll probaly ponder my life changing exploits while i'm sitting in the sun Smoking a fat One :D

TME

I go to sleep at night and enter a dream. In the morning I wake up into a nightmare.
About the whole fate and destiny thing, thats the program at work.
