The Abyss
Think I'm falling into the abyss
Don't see the point of consiousness
Religion for reason, explanation "God"
Still I'm asking "what is the point?"
With war and strife, rituals and rites
Guns and violence, life for life
Murder, rape, human rights
Politics, conspiracies, toxic gas and sunamis
Droughts and famin, infection and desease
Come to God on bended knee
Of your sins, my son, you will be free!
I've lost the point of why I begin
Coincendence or hit and miss
Astronamy or astrology,
Mathimatics and science equate me ?
Think I'm falling into the abyss
Don't see the point if REASON is this
Love and hatred, joy and pain,
A two-sided spectrum. Which side are you playing?
Find the truth. Is this a lie?
Beginnings and endings or simply pi?
Maths, science, religion
WHY?!
Adrenelyn fueled highs, despairing lows
Swallow happy pills, let the pain go
Whatever you do, don't let it show
Paralletic, stoned, sober or insane
Karma says I must do this all again?
Ordered chaos, chaotic order
Pay the bills or feed your daughter?
Heavy-handed. Tender kiss.

Happy endings. Single mother.
Orphaned children, a lost lover
Losing yourself in another
Who's that looking at me in the mirror?
Without a point there's too many questions
Spirits, gods, prophets, guides
Plus, minus, multiply and divide
And what of pi?
Hevean and hell and open skys
Is your reality as is mine?
And without a POINT is there a reason why?
