A lot of them nowerdays are man made ... but it has been proven as a fact that not all of them are man made... or at least not all of them are created by treading on planks of wood anyway... but this evidence is ignored.

this has "officially" been de bunked... but I think its real.... there was something fishy going on when this video was handed over... and speculation as to who actually did create it and who handed it over.... later the people who handed it over said it was a hoax....

but I think the circle was actually discovered that day also.... so although its been "officially" debunked as usual there is allot un explained about it...

Hi:) I know, yes it proofs itself.
They are so large, complicated and correct.
And they just pop's up in some minutes says witnesses.
So I'm sure about it, they can't be man made.

I saw some documentary a few weeks ago with some people that make crop circles. The whole thing was a massive de-bunk piece, trying to convince the viewer that they're all man made. The circles these guy's made were pathetic, compared to what this thread shows! I would love to put the challenge to these guys to make one as good as this:

It is quite easy to make complecated patterns as long as you have six equal lengths of string and two poles.(Celtic Art).
It is impossible to make non-random patterns-even a machine can't.Show me one of these and i'll believe.

Completely independent evidence of a crop circle in Belgium in 2006.
A woman was violently ill on coming out of the circle; animals refused to go in; bread made using the wheat from the circle area was "inedible".
As mentioned in my previous post, in Elf lore the elf circles were regarded as quite dangerous places to enter....

The elves could be seen dancing over meadows, particularly at night and on misty mornings. They left a kind of circle where they had danced, which were called älvdanser (elf dances) or älvringar (elf circles)

On lake shores, where the forest met the lake, you could find elf circles. They were round places where the grass had been flattened like a floor. Elves had danced there.... It could be dangerous and one could become ill if one had trodden over such a place or if one destroyed anything there.

Elves often stole babies and replaced them with identical "TWINS" ie the child was changed in some way - into a "changeling"..... the same body but with a different spirit.

A good book with some really nice science of crop circles that I have read is Secrets in the Fields, by Freddy Silva. Really interesting stuff and im sure would answer questions people have about authenticity. I know one person commented on random designs. Well a crop circle featuring a madlebrot set - spelling- a geometric figure bordering on complete randomness and chaos, which only high powered computer can creat geometrically perfect. And that circle was.

I'm a reader of the Earthfiles and I have my own 'alternative' blog. Recently, a person has come forward with some intriguing photos of a crop circle that has appeared on 2nd of June 07 on the outskirts of Ptuj, Slovenia. I believe I have not yet seen a photo of a circle with a bird nest full of eggs, unharmed, of course.

I think it is a special photo so I felt like I needed to show it to somebody with extensive knowledge and the first person I could think of is you.

The circle itself is 100 meters in diameter and the line connecting the two circles is oriented east-west. I still cannot make up my mind about crop circles. I love them, I think many of them are beautiful and stunning to look at and I do believe that some of them at least contain a message for humanity but I have my doubts about them being created by anything of ET origin.

That looks to me like the Venus transit........the large centre circle being the Sun with the planet Venus travelling around it and the planet Earth with its Moon travelling around the Sun and Venus........the Venus transit is a major planetary event that finishes in 2012....the vibrations created by this event will have a major impact on our consciousness awareness......

Crop circle in Norway in the county of Telemark Persbråten farm at Gulset outside the town of Skien

This crop circle reported on the 27th of June, is the first important formation to have occurred in Norway since 2002.

The formation in young barley has an overall length of 20 metres, and consists of two overlapping circles, each with a diameter of 11m. The pattern is precise and the circles well defined.

The farmer discovered the formation at 9 am the 27th and confirms that it was not there the previous evening.

Our informant visited it on the ground at 5pm the same day. He reports a neat, “fluffy” floor lay with no visible damage found on the plants. Many of the stalks showed nice, soft bends just above the ground, while others were more sharply “broken”. He reports that the plants otherwise looked completely undamaged and that he couldn’t find any marks in the waxy layer on the stalks.

Already on the morning of the 28th the crop had started to recover and, to quite an extent, risen up again to its vertical position.

Yeah, I doubt the aliens or whoever would make a formation out from a picture
done by Helen Oxenbury.
But it's a very well done formation and it amazes me a bit that this is human made, but I'm pretty sure it is.

This crop circle was first reprted on the 29th of June. It's deteriorated, probably because of the wet weather, but it's still very distinct. It runs north-south, is about 100 yards long and it's insectoid in style. It is situated about 200 yards away from where another very different circle appeared in 2005. I laid down in the midle of the main circle foir a few minutes and meditated. This crop circle was first reprted on the 29th of June. It's deteriorated, probably because of the wet weather, but it's still very distinct. BTW, I forgot to mention where it's located: It's near Garsington in Oxfordshire. It's hard to find I'm afraid though, but keep your eye on Swirled News or CCC for more info.

I'm sorry to report that the West Kennett circle has been destroyed, totally flattened!! :mad: Not sure when or by who, but it seems like the farmer of the field maybe, as the corn was cut? :( :confused: Still we sat there for a while, my son flew his kite a bit & then we did the Long Barrow & some of Avebury.

Managed to get ontop of a hill to see the new one at East Field though, which was definitely worth the hike... WOW it was HUGE!! :cool:

I got some pics which I will hopefully upload tomorrow...

I'm new to this crop circle thing previously assuming they were man-made. But a good many of them are absolutely incredible, beautiful. Its almost impossible to believe they were created with a man and his plank. Not saying they aren't man-made via HAARP or something but whatever.... a welcome addition to the overall adventure!

STAR BURST

A star burst explodes onto a remote part of the English landscape. This wonderful formation has appeared in a very difficult location to find. It cannot be seen from the ground as it is 8 tram lines into the middle of a large wheat field and hidden from the road by a small wood. Without the help of an aerial photo this would have proved almost impossible. There is a magical element to the geometry within this formation. An awesome experience!

Yes, it's splendid. It's part of the Koch fractal group that came out a few years ago.

it's good to see that 2007 is NOT, repeat NOT, the bad year that was predicted by the Skeptics. Some Skeptics even spoke of the decline of the phenomenon; that it was "a craze whose novelty was wearing off".

I speculate that this year there are a greater percentage of genuine ones, as opposed to those made by the plankers. This is because of the bad weather. I can imagine that the plankers would have a hard time while it's chucking it down.

I doubt it; there are thousands of satelites. Satelite tracks are almost as numerous as those of flying birds, so you can't tell.

I'm open to the idea that some crop circles are made by beam weapons. Brian Desborough even discourages people from "nightwatching" because of the dangers of radiation. However too many people have had genuine spiritual experiences and interaction to explain the entire phenomenon this way. If the Illuminati are doing it with microwave satelites, then why are they doing it?:confused:

There is a strong belief and this resonates inside me a lot, that crop circles are actually representations of the current Global State of Consciousness. They are created by Orbs (you've all seen those) and these are representations of pure consciousness.

They are always formed upon a site which has water running underneath, as all the moisture from the ground is instantly sucked away and planted in the water. The formations are aided by this process of water (which carries an enormous amount of energy) and conscious creation.

Furthermore, on close inspection, one can see that its "filled circle" contains 13 smaller mini-swirls:

Taken together, both observations lead one to believe that those crop artists are trying to tell us about "6 days" from their ancient 13-month calendar (based on motions of Venus and the Sun), where any month contained 20 days, and any year contained 13 x 20 = 260 days.

The "long bar" in that same crop picture is skewed with respect to a nearby tramline by approximately 10 degrees. Such a small but precise angle might be intended to represent the small angular fraction of "6 days" within any complete 260-day Mayan year as (6 / 260) x 360 = 8.3 degrees.

Why would they show us the ancient Mayan symbol for "6 days" right now, on a particular date of August 12, 2007?

Hey, that crop circle pattern of the alien image with the disc next to it is flabbergasting! The disc reminds me of these toy records I use to have as a child!! If someone made that disc image into one of those records, what tune would it play??? It could be something which has magical powers of alchemy....the power of sound. What annoys me we with nearly all the crop's is that all the ''flat corn areas'' are in or very close to the trails after the farmer, why can't they make something between/in the middel of the trails.
Like you can see on this one too (I'm thinking of the little formation at the left of the big one).
I can't remember (I'm sure I would) having seeing this one time.
Can whatever make these please make one away from the trails so everybody can see theres no footprince in the corns at the way out to this??

There ARE crop circles with structures which have no access from the trails or "tramlines" as they are called, and show no signs of anyone wading through the crop to get to them. There are definitely several and I'll try to find one for you. It means that the plankers would have to have some kind of crane to life the person with his plank over to the area they wanted flattened. Not likely!

I noticed something about this cricle: one of the cuboid structures is irregular. Is this a mistake or deliberate?

The tramlines are always about the same size and distance apart, because of the design of farming machines, so you can use them as a scale for measuring the size of the crop circle. In this case the structure I pointed out is two to three metres away from the nearest tramline; too far to jump, especially from the tramlines which are just a few inches wide and you need to walk sideways along them. Unless the plankers have a crane or helicopter to lower the artist into the area then there's no way this can be man-made. It's impossible to walk through virgin crop without leaving a visible track. So you're right; this is proof.

Ugh!:eek: I've often wondered what happens to the insects and mice and birds and things that are in an area where a crop circles appears. Poor little thing. I'll ask the circle making consciousness to do something about that next year.

Surely no-one believes that these things are of "supernatural origin" any more? Interesting picture if it was found impaled on a thorn bush I'd be inclined to say it was the work of a Red Backed Shrike, but I've never seen a shrike use a piece of straw. Perhaps the same people that made the circle left it behind as a prank? I remember a few years ago A guy who claimed to be "a circle expert" reckoned he was being pursued by the CIA? Even the CIA can't be that dumb, could they? I have seen some marvelous circles. They did one of Richard & Judy & another of a CD with the dots & dash's. It's became something of an artform.
