Age of Aquarius--When does it start???

From my research I've found that most literature says that the age of Aquarius begins in 2012/2013

but other sources show that it is 2600, or some other date.

For those of you with alot of knowledge concerning astronomy. Can someone please verify when in fact the dawning of the AGE of Aquarius begins?

The date is in question but I believe it to be circa 2061

The age of Aquarius happens officially when the sun is in a certain position in the sky, but the actual influence of Aquarius doesn't begin suddenly then; there's a transition period. I think we're already in this period and an astrologer I spoke to said that the actual has already begun.

The planet Uranus is the "ruling" planet for the Sign of Aquarius, so, in many ways we've been becoming more conscious of the energies of both since Uranus was first discovered on March 13, 1781.

Astrological Age changes are usually rather slow phases of transition from the previous Age and it's energies/consciousness into the "New" astrological Age. This transition period or cusp of Ages usually takes about 500 years. The main thing about these Age changes is the total change, shift, into a new planetary theme of awareness and learnings. It dosen't happen on say a Tuesday and ta da.....everything and everyone's different! ;)

However I think that because there's so much more happening at the same time as our current astrological Age change, that it's a bit harder to tell what's causing exactly what. The transition into both the astrological Ages of Aquarius (now) AND the Age of Leo (12,500+ BC) are different than all the others because, supposedly and I believe it to be true, both Ages are when Earth and the solar system orbit into the Photon Band of higher dimensional energy. So.....it's far far more than just an Age change, which is a huge deal all in itself!

Think of the Ages of Aquarius and Leo being the 2 Ages where massive adjustments, planetary and human healing, balance and sanity return. Think of them like periods where we remember what we really are! ;) These 2 Ages are the only ones that orbit into and out of the Photon Band.

Our whole lives have and will be lived during this cusp period of trying to cast off the old Piscean/Neptune Age and consciousness while at the same time, living with the new Age's (Aquarius/Uranus) energies and consciousness. I also feel that we reached a major point at the year 2000 and we took on much more of Aquarius/Uranus.

Another thing that may or may not interest some. Large numbers of "Lightworkers" always incarnate at the astrological Age changes to help break up the old and bring in the new Age energies. Souls who are good at fighting the old system, its rulers, and thinking outside the current box of reality to get the planet to transition into the new planetary theme of learning etc. The majority of us are these "Lightworkers" functioning at our different levels now.

Do you believe the Mayan 12,21,2102 date has any significance then? If so, what is the significance and what will happen?

Hi archangel.

I sure don't know enough about the Mayan calendar and its many cycles and sub-sycles but I do belive that the "end date" is just that. The end date (Winter Solstice 2012) is supposedly when this whole learning cycle within this solar system (and probably beyond), reaches its end.

Now I do NOT believe that this will be "the end" to life on planet earth! ;) Its more like Graduation Day and entering a totally new and different cycle of learning. Here's a quote about this.

"The Mayan calendar does not "end" in 2012, but rather, all the cycles turn over and start again, vibrating to a new era. Its as if humanity and Earth will graduate in the eyes of the Father Sun and Grandmother Milky Way."

I sense that many, many, new 'worlds' and 'realities' will be birthed out of this huge ending/beginning and, this date of 12/21/2012, is the very last date for this process. It's funny because just the other day when I was here I was looking at forum member 12 21 2012 name and I had a mini insight. I saw all those 12's and realized that humanity has lived for sooooo long in physicality with the "12" energy and consiousness.

The 12 hours, the 12 months in a year, the 12 Tribes, the 12 Apostals, the 12 Zodiacal Signs, and so on and so on.

What if the Mayan's calculated spiritual cycles of consciousness, learning and growth in physicality? This is what I've read and what I personally believe and this date of 2012 is the end of our super long phase of spiritual learning (or not) within a system of "12" in a physical realm in polarity.

Remember the 'myth' about how the whole Mayan civilization supposedly just vanished off the planet suddenly? They ascended. Now think about the 25 year long period from 1987 - 2012 and how more and more humans are living the "Ascension process" right now. The closer we get to this date (WS 2012) more people will also seemingly appear to not be here anymore! We're in a similar process of ascending out of physicality and polarity now and this date, to me, indicates when this cycle finishes. I also believe that there's many days, dates, well before WS 2102 were humanity can take huge leaps up out of the lower vibtating energies/consciousness.

Don't wait for 2012, use the time right now.
