Did you ever notice how junk food is so addicting????
Currently since june, I have had a severe crunchy cheeto addiction. I try to stick with the "baked" brand because it is a lot "better" for you, but every now and then because of a sale I cannot refuse I get the regular.

I was wondering what other junk food addictions people have?
Mine usually switches but this one is staying full blast!

I rarely eat junk food. On the rare occasion I do (for example, when hungry and driving and I stop at a drive thru) you can bet your bottom dollar I spend the next six hours paying for it, rolling round clutching my cramping abdomen, my head splitting from a migraine and spending a lot of time on the loo.

A couple of weeks eating clean and it's frightening how severely the body reacts to junk.

I hear you!

Luckily I am all ready a vegan/veg so the junk food I eat is only like chips or candy no fast food at all!
I am not 100% vegan cuz I eat eggs once a week and yogurt all the time! But I am 100 % vegetarian.

Junk food is too many raw nuts or too much fresh fruit juice. You people are just shoving poisons down your face holes. You are killing yourselves, committing slow suicide, and destroying many other lives in the process.

I agree, but fresh fruit juice is better than what most people drink, concentrates and pasturised versions. Raw nuts are no worse than raw or cooked grains, but if you ferment them (still raw) they are good for you. Try soaking your nuts atleast 7 hours or overnight and see how much better they make you feel.

Err, what? Easy said, my friend, but your words do not reflect reality.

Yes, my opinion. What about the opinion of the animals? Do they stretch out their necks when invited to have their throats cut? Do they remain still and spread themselves out to offer a good target for the shooters? I think the fuck not.

Do these debates turn out to be 'retarded'? It is probably because you animal murderers cannot possibly justify what you do and only have retarded retort to offer back when shown for the thugs, abusers, killers, and unenlightened eaters that you all are. You see, eating meat is insanity. The truly insane do not recognize their insanity.

when i take a walk i kill millions of animals. Untold numbers are slaughtered in every step. I grow vegetables. In the act of planting, weeding, tilling and harvest countless small mammals are invariably crushed. Wind turbines kill hundreds of birds per year per turbine. I give the animals the conditions in which to thrive and i take it away as well. It's just the way the world works, always has and always will.

Sainsburys do this stunning rum and raisin ice cream though , yummy, and also these nice snacks. Salt and pepper crisp things. Very tasty. All very bad for me of course

And you would be much more enlightened due to eating vegetables? You still play the same game of killing-for-survival as all the other idiots out there do as long as you donate your money/energy/waste of breath to a battle that cannot be won by any side.

That is a completely fucked-up thing to do.

It totally is! To kill something that is developed, has personality, feelings etc. is fucked up. There is a big gap of difference between us and animals, aswell as there is between mammals/birds and insects, just as there is between animals and plants. I've felt the strong positive differences in myself after changing from omnivore to pescetarian, and from that to veg.

It's a fact we are retarded species, most people who at the same time whine and complain about the cruel world, yet take no responsibility themselves for what they eat. If you want to eat animals, go kill it yourself, I'd say. And yes, I'll happily collect some veggies and take the apple from the tree!! (oh how awful...!!!:D) Yes, eating animals is doable, do we live in a situation right now that it's needed? Not really...It's a fact meat became popular after the war in Europe...go figure.

Atleast Pacoquerak is honest, and doesn't walk away from the responsibility.

junk food... a slow death! as tempting as it is, there's a reason it's so addictive, cause we've been programmed that it's the best since we were children, and became estranged from natural food.

have you checked out the ingredients in junk food lately?

aspartame in pop (causes brain tumours & damages dna)
modified starch in sweets (damages dna)
sodium benzoate (damages brain function & dna)
monosodium glutimate (addictive) in crisps
ribonucletides in quavers (part of fish rna)
pasteurised dairy (form muccoid plaque in the large intestine)

let alone the artificial colours that are highly toxic. the fda has set 'safe limits' for these additives but new discoveries show that these form highly toxic compounds when combined, by eating a packet of crisps while drinking a can of fizzy pop... nice, discreet and subtle enginnering there fda!!

also the FDA banned aspartame in the US, so rumsvelt fired the top people and put in his own members, who then quickly passed it as a safe food.

also noticed that the newsagents, petrol stations, & one stops all sell mostly toxic crap, from chemicalised tobacco to junk food? and that most of the foods on offer in the supermarkets is yet more toxic crap?? this is just to limit your body, compromise your immune system, retard your brain function and make you feel like shit without even knowing it. junk food is insidious nwo dehumanising at it's best...

i only buy organic food, avoid TESCO (boycotttesco.com) and support local farmers and shops.

thumbs up for mentioning EARTHLINGS, awesome film that you can see online
on youtube. the EARTHLINGS website: http://www.earthlings.com/ ;)

Chocolate. :o
If that can be considered junk.

did you know that cadbury's chocolate has pigs blood in it? unless emulsifier is specified otherwise (such as soya), it's pig blood. nice of them to let people know that, isn't it??

also it contains sugar, highly addictive, lowers the immune system, lowers your body's energy for 6 hours, and makes you acidic. for more on sugar try to get hold of the book 'The Sugar Blues' and read the work of Terence McKenna, get informed, it's one of the worlds most toxic drugs! causes mood swings and depression...

also is has milk in it, highly acidifying for the body, the main cause of the rise in osteoperosis is our increased intake of dairy, which makes our bodies acidic. to combat this, our body takes calcium from our bones to alkalanise the body, so in the long run it's a total farce that it's good for bones because of the calcium, it actually weakens your bones! Plus it's pasteurised, which makes a natural product toxic, and non organic milk has high levels of cow puss in it from the painful udder infections caused by producing 60 litres of milk a day. hence the rise in dairy intolerance... this info from AnimalAid... for more check out their website http://www.animalaid.org.uk/h/n/AA/HOME/

however, cacao nibs are a natural source of all the goodness of chocolate without the comercial crap added to it ;)

I don't eat cadbury's and rarely chocolate. I quitted it because it's addictive, every addiction = bad sign.

I appreciate your concern about animals. :)

You know it's funny, I even dreamed about a cow last night that got milked, and I don't remember too much of that dream (I later remembered it), but I didn't felt comfortable. I have plans to go vegan, but I want to do it nice and steady.

No need to lie about anything- maybe a good start would be to try to care as much about people as you do about animals. Maybe only give your opinions about meat eating when they are solicited, and not just when someone is listing their favorite processed junk food on a favorite processed junk food thread.
