What do you reckon that Gordon Brown is walking the leadership contest so that he'll be the unelectable alternative, making sure the Chosen One: David Cameron, gets into power?
Why is nobody else standing for the leadership election? Someone asked Peter Mandelson that last night on "Question Time" and he just dodged it.

I think you're onto something here mate. I bet any money it will be Cameron that gets into office. They've been greasing that slimeball up now for the last couple of years, trying to appeal to the young naive general population. Still i look forward to the farcical run up to the next general election. It should be fun watching horseshit vs dogshit.

It's perfect that Brown is both unelectable and very pro New Labour and the War on Terror. What better way to clear the path for El Slimeball.
I had a girlfriend who lives in Duckington, Oxfordshire, just round the corner from Cameron. She and her mother both say he's very stuck-up and aloof. He acts like a man of the people when the reporters are around him, but soon lets it slip when he's in private with "the ordinary folk". People say exactly the same thing about Blair.

It will be amusing I suppose.
BTW, Auron, is your username from "Blakes 7"? I'm a huge fan of that series!

It is from a game called Final Fantasy 10 i used to play years ago. He was my favorite character in the game! He would always remain calm, when everyone else would panic.

It's superb! It was on a long time ago I was too young to understand as well. But I still enjoyed it, and now I've got the DVD's. It's very meaningful and topical to the subjects we discuss here. I've actually done a complete conspiracist analyisis of the series. I'll post it on a new thread.

Hi,
Gordon Brown always has a fake smile on his face when the cameras are on him.... it’s so bloody obvious..... does he really think we are daft enough to buy that fake smile
A good way to discredit Gordon Brown in the lead up to the election would be to make the economy go pear shaped.......I can see this happening, we are starting to see things take a turn for the worst now with interests rates rising..... timing is everything to these people.
