There's a typhoon here in Hong Kong so I wrote a poem:
The spirits are restless
Shuffling in the eye of the storm
The air is a cloud of mist in repentance
And the wind dances in insane circles
The animal nature of the gods has taken over
The rain brings their razored blessings to earth
Of dance and cavort
And howling and noises from beyond the soul we shall sing
We'll rip the streets bare
Walls are dust, getting soggier by the minute
I spin on the crumbling tracks enveloped with laughter and happy malice
Water licks my feet as a kitten lapping up a pool of blood
Ghosts of ancient bombers flicker on the sky
And everyone sits in the shelter
Happily playing card and biting on ration
Until mother nature goes away
The spirits are restless
Shuffling in the eye of the storm
The air is a cloud of mist in repentance
And the wind dances in insane circles
The animal nature of the gods has taken over
The rain brings their razored blessings to earth
Of dance and cavort
And howling and noises from beyond the soul we shall sing
We'll rip the streets bare
Walls are dust, getting soggier by the minute
I spin on the crumbling tracks enveloped with laughter and happy malice
Water licks my feet as a kitten lapping up a pool of blood
Ghosts of ancient bombers flicker on the sky
And everyone sits in the shelter
Happily playing card and biting on ration
Until mother nature goes away
