Anti-chipping presentation, march, and prayer vigil
VeriChip Corporation, along with AlzCare, is planning to exploit dementia patients for medical research. Unless it is stopped, they plan to inject 200 Alzheimer's patients and their caregivers with subdermal RFID microchips. Join us to speak up for these Alzheimer victims who cannot speak for themselves.

My Grandad suffers with alzheimers and I'd hate to think about him being chipped or tracked by these corporations as an experiment or for exploitation...
...but my understanding is that this measure is being tried in order to allow Alzheimers patients a chance to more independent without having to live in nursing homes under constant supervision. Most people who suffer this disease tend to find that their symptoms accelerate when they don't have to do or think anything for themselves any more since their cognitive processes slow down so this could actually be a positive medical development in this particular instance?
Forgive me if I've got this wrong.

G'day 11kushna11, no one needs any forgiving and no ones wrong.
I don't have any experience with Alzheimers sufferers. I have heard similar sentiments from other people with Alzheimer sufferers in their families saying the same things as your self. I posted it as info is all.
In the NWO scheme of things, this is seen as the stepping stone towards getting chips accepted in all areas of our lives.
I posted similar info to this on a computer forum last week and there were a lot of supporters for the technology to be used in this instance. So you are not alone.
Cheers, h.

I can see how it could be interpreted as a stepping stone towards mass chipping and it's definately a worry that the technology is now avaliable and in active use.
But again looking from the other side of the fence, if the technology is there but it's being used for positive medical reasons, as it is in this case, then at the moment a demonstration might be counterproductive since you're depriving ill people the chance for independence, and their families or caregivers the chance at a better quality of life.
When the government start trying to chip us for no reason other than to track us then I'm all in favour of these kinds of demos, but for now I think we need to be careful that we don't let NWO paranoia (there really is no such thing as the NWO at the moment in spite of people's insistence that there is) start to consume us or we'll begin to make it more of a reality than it actually is.
Just trying to look at things from a rational perspective but you're doing a good thing by bring this to people's attention :)

Good points and you've got me thinking. This is what carers and family members of sufferers were saying on the other forum.

Man I love this forum, people here are so open-minded, it's awesome. Raise objection or debate elsewhere and you get hounded, insulted... your receptiveness to an alternative viewpoint is a real credit to you dude.
Please keep raising awareness of all things you consider important. :)

Please keep raising awareness of all things you consider important. No worries. Please keep raising awareness of all things you consider important. ;)
I think that chipping alzheimers will make there life`s worse it will cost a lot to set up and mentain and I think it will allow less carers to look after more suffers and also gave a false sense that its ok to leave suffers longer unatended.Plus also what will these people think when they are chipped like pets and cattle.
Think the money would be better spent on care and support for them and there family`s
Want all these cctv cameras with face recantation software not find them?
It will also be ok then to chip other people with "difficulties" and "mental illnesses" then "kids" and "criminals" and then anybody who might full into these
classes.
I think nobody likes kids getting kidnapped and abused but think a chip would not be the answer it could be easily blocked by some shielding material, cut out or zapped/and disabled by some device.
Think what happened in Portugal could of be avoid with some better hotel security e.g hall cameras, security doors/entrance

deca I understand what you're saying and I don't particuarly like the thought of a chip in my grandfather but if it allowed him to be able to stay at home alone or go to the shops, or swim without 24 hour care then I can see why someone would be receptive to such an idea.
I just think that a full-on protest at this stage is a little over the top until we actually know that this technology isn't being deployed with a positive objective. It's easy to point the finger at big corporations or companies promising new technology but consider that maybe these people have dedicated hours of their lives to researching a product that might help thousands of ill people, only to find their work being demeaned by a group of protestors telling them that they're trying to bring about a New World Order and control the population. At this stage it's a complete overreaction until we can prove that Verichip aren't just thinking liberally by not conforming to NWO and New Age paranoia with a genuine view to improving our lives.
I'm not a propoganda agent or anything, I just think it's too soon to start freaking out about this stuff because we'll miss the truly important developments over the next 5 years.

i dont see how chipping alzheimer's patients will help them live independantly. if the patient is at the point where they wander off and dont know where they are, a chip wont help their independance. they will still need someone to monitor the chip and if the patient is out in the world somewhere and they have to locate them using the chip then by then it might be too late, they might be hit by a car or something. the caregiver's need to keep an eye on the patient anyway and not let them wander off in the first place.
also.. why would it have to be implanted under the skin?? why not just a necklace or bracelet? remember they have the tecnology to send frequencies into the brain and moderate brain waves and behaviour. we cannot let this happen.
I am tracked, electronic harassed 24/7 so are many others
