Did we get a visit from the Sex Pistol fool yesterday?
Was it the moneyed goon? - obviously bored, he decided to come down from his ivory castle and play with the proles he despises.
Pity he was banned.....sometimes it serves well to get first hand experience of the closed mindset that helps to keep the system running it's merry little course.

As an old school punk rocker I have to say that I absolutely hate the sex pistols and the propaganda that they created about punk rockers. Not all punk rockers are stupid, drunken, apathetic losers that don't give a shit about the world we live in. The majority of real punk rockers are people like the band Crass that are intense activists and truth seekers. There are definitely a bunch of DUMB punk rockers that just drink and get fucked up and follow the "sex Pistol/Sid Viscous" way. Those people I freaking despise. I am currently starting a book about the infiltration of these idiots into the punk, hardcore and underground scene and how the gov't in the 60's-90's saturated the underground scene with the debilitating drug of heroin. I would not be surprised if the sex pistols weren't part of some agenda to discredit the underground punk scene because real punk scared the shit out of the hidden hand during the 70's and 80's.

Yeah, I would think that the sex pistols were an unwitting trump card of the establishment to undermine the whole thing. I wouldn't trust that Malcom Mcclaren as far as I could throw him, and wouldn't be surprised if he was in on it. The image of Sid Vicious is an unfortunate black shadow on punk and got numerous nihilistic, self destructive, negative people interested in the punk movement which has permeated the genre (and music) ever since.

Same here, but then some years later I saw them at reading 93 (?), and they were poor, but instead of trying harder, he blamed it on the crowd, claiming it was fans who had lost their spirit, strange as RATM, Alice Donut et al seemed to be kicking it.

Banning Lydon was probably a mistake.
You people, and I do mean you people, (because there is fast developing an Icke dogma here, despite Icke's own rejection of dogma) are so set in your negative belief system that you fail to see when someone challenges the negativity of those beliefs.
There is another way but people are so keen here to nurture their prejudices.... when anyone challenges them they are immediately set upon by the pack...
They talk about wanting enlightenment and then they attack the serpent cult as evil when they're all the same thing....

Im no fan of anarchy, because I love order so much, as in order that harms no one, like common sense and being prepared.
I dont get anarchists to be honest, the western ones anyway, too much hatred for no reason, so many great things you can do in the day, and all they want to do is offend people and destroy stuff like little bratty kids, just a bunch of losers I guess.

I agree - Banning was not the best action unless he did something we don't know about.....ie abusive pm's.
I don't agree with banning people for their opinions - only the method in which they present them.
If they present as abusive or aggressive - they defeat the objective of airing their views as people will not be responsive to their ideas.
However, being deliberately obtuse and argumentative is the hallmark of the Troll......fun to have around, for a while, until they become tiresome which is then an indicator they should be given their marching orders.
Personally, his posts, although somewhat crass do not seem to indicate the need for him ,to be banned. Unless the moderators have other undisclosed reasons.

John Lydon isn't posting here as far as I'm aware. If he is, he certainly isn't posting under anything as obvious as "john lydon" for a username.
So I'd just like to put your minds at rest that this paticular person who has been banned bares no connection to the real John Lydon. This user is, in fact, a known spammer and troll here on our forum. And we had very good reason to ban him.
