Hi, I'm new to the forum and was curious about others' thoughts on sudoku. Why do you think it has become so popular and do you think there is another agenda here?

i was doing a puzzle the other night and noticed,, as i was working out the blocks that i was saying one one one etc in my head and then i got to six six six and realised how many times i was repeating those numbers and how many other people were doing the same thing and what were we all contributing to the satanic energy in the world.

Does this makes sense? I've had a couple of glasses of wine!!!!!

Good to meet you all. :)

hello tamasis and welcome to the madhouse.. ermmmm forum :D

I don't know if it is programming or not but I love sudoku. It keeps the mind active and is simply lateral thnking.

I know there will be some who disagree, but when you are a wake up to the games being played, it is not that easy to program you.

I think suduko took such a storm because, its something calming, that we can concentrate on. Everyone, even if they declare they hate mathematics, are comforted by the simplicity in numbers. :)

As for saying a satanic mantra? I don't think so. Just a way something for us to concentrate on, and to capture our full attention. I noticed the other day on the train, everyone was sitting doing the sudukos from the newspaper on the way home from their individual jobs. Nobody looked at eachother. No body smiled at people who said excuse me, there was an utter stillness. Sure it was just concentration, but the lack of communication, and the normal smiles and polite "Can I Sit There?"... somehow vanished.
Perhaps the carriage i was in, was dedicated to HARDCORE SUDUKO'ERS but who knows :)

its almost like we have to be a little cautious of anything or anyone that becomes popular very quickly....hmmm
