A front page article in the Daily express on it's website on www.dailyexpress.co.uk has indicated that councils will now have new powers to tell you what you can and can't have in your own garden:confused:.
If you have fast growing plants that require alot of watering they could be banned:eek:. You will be forced in some circumstances to apply for planning permission ie a building regulation for planting your rhododendrons!! it has one of many reasons for interferring with what you can and can't have in your garden, one is so the government can hit their targets for reducing waste, which is laughable:rolleyes: because if anyone saw the trevor mcdonald tonight programme on Monday, alot of the council recycling waste ends up being shipped out to a waste dump in India, Africa or the Far East and not recycled and the council escape the illegal dumping of waste fines that should be imposed unlike us who are fined for putting the rubbish in the wrong bin!!.. To see the full story go to the website above.
They have interfered with our freedoms when we are out and about now they are moving into our very homes so we can't even be in peace in our own homes, the next step will be the final frontier of freedom left to us- OUR VERY THOUGHTS AND EMOTIONS , anyone who has seen a clip called Network 1976 on the Zeitgeist movie will know what all this means.
They will sabbotage throught the RFID chip and take away our last bit of freedom which is already well underway in America. People out there in the general public complain and get angry about the story highlighted at the top of this article but are unaware of where it is all leading. All rights and freedoms removed which will make us all easier to manipulate and control, the RFID chip is the final step. All this nonsense in between is just the beginning, as the saying goes "You ain't seen nothin' yet".

They are trying to stop us being self sufficient IN MY OPINION. That's the real purpose of those garden inspectors. They are looking for people who collect rain water, who have solar panels, chickens, wind turbines, vegetable patches.

its very effective to say global warming is ruining our planet as it gives lots of
reasons to control our every day lives and therefore our moods etc
no lawns no big push on lawnmowers at local bnq or garden furniture etc etc

I wonder if they are trying to get the people to rebel so that they can bring in Marshall Law ? Or maybe the people are living in so much fear, because of all the propaganda, that they dare not rebel and the "ptb" are testing the water by publishing these stories to see how far and how quickly they can bring forward their hidden agenda ?

That story in the Express itself creates fear and must have a psychological effect on the masses where they dare not plan for the future or just think to themselves that there IS no future and then they become even more apathetic.

If they ban a certain type of plant, I say we all grow that specific plant in bulk in our gardens. What can they do?

im re creating an african plain here so that when hoardes of gazzelles etc migrate here they feel right at home , might even make it a wildlife resserve so royals can shoot tigers from the safety of the shed in years to come .

“This is another example of the heavy hand of Labour needlessly meddling in people’s lives.”
As though the Conservatives will retract the agenda.

I had something similar 11 years ago. Some dickhead council jobsworth "litter officer" sent me a letter (because I didn`t bother answering the door) saying I had too much litter in my back yard, said litter was the frame and engine from a Robin Reliant that my dope-smoking-up-in-his-attic mate had towards building a trike (which he did). Said jobsworth came back later and he reminded him that stupid rule only applied to council properties and not private properties and also told him that he was trespassing on private property and then told him to fuck off :D Wish I`d been there at the time...

Even if this is true, and the angle is about water management, then it's counter-intuitive. One of the reasons that water is becoming an issue in the UK is because of the way natural water drainage is being affected. Due road building, pedestrianisation and perhaps specifically the way gardens and drives have been paved over, natural water waste from rain is unable to find efficient ways into the ground.
As well as being a complete cluster-fuck for wildlife (bye, bye hedgerows!) it's putting more and more pressure on drains. Which, of course, means more big business WaterCo ringing their tills like it's a campanologists meeting.
Actually having a garden, lawn and greenery helps the environment - and your pocket - more than a paved 2 car driveway or a barbecue area for chilling in the summer.

More Labour madness as usual.
They really are sinsane.
I grow some fruits myself and keep a lawn. In any common sense world we should be encouraged to grow more and plant more. The more plants and grass the more oxygen in our city centres.
But yes they want to destroy everything and that includes creating an army of inspectors and civil enforcement officers controlled by Brussels and given a never ending stream of directives to follow.
They will stop people getting water butts and wind turbines and solar panels claiming they breech planning regulations.
And yes it is very true that all this recycling bins bullshit is simply another control mechanism.
I dont play their game i simply put 100% of my refuse into bin bags.
But i know many of my neighbours do fall for this game.
Hopefully everyone will realise that all of that refuse is simply going to India to be dumped.
Before Labour came in things were so much better. Rubbish used to go to the incinerator and produce ELECTRICITY and very little ash which could be used as fertilizer. Today rubbish is simply dumped in landfills here or worse in open dumps in China or India.
How does that help the planet or the public?
Labour / EUSSR insanity.
