UK Environment Minister Wilson: Climate Change a “Hysterical Psuedo-religion”

BBC
September 6, 2008

The Environment Minister Sammy Wilson has angered green campaigners by describing their view on climate change as a “hysterical psuedo-religion”.

In an article in the News Letter, Mr Wilson said he believed it occurred naturally and was not man-made.

“Resources should be used to adapt to the consequences of climate change, rather than King Canute-style vainly trying to stop it,” said the minister.

Peter Doran of the Green Party said it was a “deeply irresponsible message.”

Mr Wilson said he refused to “blindly accept” the need to make significant changes to the economy to stop climate change.

"Hysterical pseudo-religion" is a perfect way to describe the current madness surrounding Global Warming.

Facts -

1) The Earth is actually cooling, whilst the upper atmosphere (stratosphere particularly) is warming. This is a simple greenhouse side-effect symptom and the cause is the Sun, which is going through one of its interval revolutions right now.

2) This phenomena has all happened before, encyclically, many times thruout history and before the written word.

3) There is no ultimate danger to the Human race, and anyone who peddles propaganda, lies, half-truths or misinformation to say there is, is a deciever.

4) "Al Gore invented the Internet and discovered Global Warming" are memes designed to allow the Elite a laugh at your literal expense - for whilst the internet is a tool to allow them to tell you what they're legally obliged to tell you in a saying-not-saying kind of veiled way, Global Warming is a scam to directly disinfranchise you of you income via green-taxes and your rights as a "consumer", the only label the System will allow for a human being (not "producer", even wonder why..?)

5) Read what David Icke and others have said about the GW scam.

I have come to believe this myself more and more recently. I used to worry quite a lot about the environment, but it's all become fairly transparent in recent years.

'Green' taxes are frankly laughable. Here's the thing: one of my colleagues used to live in Belgium. Their genuine green initiative is to pump massive amounts of money into public transport, and anyone who sells their car automatically receives a 5-year bus pass. This ensures that only those who need a car have one, and most people use their very acceptable public transport.

Here, of course, we are taxed for the privelege of having the choice - under the guise that it will be reinvested in green initiatives, while being told that if we don't all go green and the shit hits the fan, it's our own fault. Bullshit. It's just another way of taxing us and paying for these ridiculous wars and the massive debt our wonderful country has got into. Likewise with America.

I'm well aware I'm preaching to the converted here, but still.

That said, I still think it's very important to be as green as possible - as much as anything, because it avoids paying said taxes and also removes our reliance on fossil fuels.

Quite right, & here's another fact: all the planets in our solar system have been showing similar changes, due to the sun warming up,or whatever she's doing. But you won't find THAT mentioned anywhere mainstream.Just ask your local astronomer.....:)

Good post. Belgian idea brilliant. But In the UK, oil rules the day.
