Since my late teens, i had been suffering from blurred vision. It would come on suddenly and often be triggered by bright lights or reading text like newspapers or ugly websites.
I'd get patterns in my vision, which would persist if i closed my eyes and i'd get a terrible headache afterwards. I went to see an optician and got some spectacles, but they had no effect.
My vision got worse, with blurred periods coming almost daily, until i decided to undertake self-help.

I checked the symptoms of mercury poisoning, its half-life in the body and available chelators and figured i had the answer! With mercury being released from my amalgam fillings and mercury being present in my brain from childhood vaccinations...

I bought a few bottles of vitamins, paying particular attention to vitamin E in the form of Alpha Tocopherol, and a good variety of multivitamins. I started and continue to take approximately 3000% RDA of Alpha Tocopherol.

Since taking these supplements, i have only had two brief periods of blurred vision but these were within only a week of starting the self-help. I've been free of vision trouble for around 7 weeks now and i feel like my mind is clearer. I'm also feeling happier!

I mentioned this story to my consultant at the hospital a couple of days ago, and he verified that i was doing the right thing. He's a great doctor... better than my usual one who is a miserable sod, and who doesn't like to hand out treatment!
Infact i've got a colonoscopy lined up for the next couple of weeks. Not the best thing to do during the day, but i get to see inside my guts :D

I think i might ask him to refer me to a dentist to get the fillings out. They must be the source of my troubles, especially since i had my fillings in my teenage years.

I'm mercury poisoned and chelating can be very dangerous if its not done properly. Firstly make sure you take a good multivitamin like Solgar. The main chelators are DMSA and ALA. Both are very powerful and should be taken around the clock. Diet is very important. Low carb, no sugar or caffeine.

Ive read bout this, and I am also a member of a mercury amalgam support group because the fillings have casued me severe health problems.

i have come to the conclusion that a combination of chlorella and cilantro/corriander can remove a lot of mercury. MSM aswell and other high sulphur foods seriously help, as well as liquid zeolites.

Check youtube videos for liquid zeolites for osme inforamtion on them aswell.

From a personal perspective, lets say I have 100 grams of mercury in my body (just hypothetically), then to feel better, I would have to remove about 80 grams of it. No ones perfect, theres a chance I will never get it all out of my body, but I can at least try.

I also take liquid zeolite and cannot sing the praises enough for this product ! Not only has it cleared previous "fuzzy brain" symptoms but has also helped my liver repair itself through previous excess consumption of alcohol. It also has the ability to cure cancers and it affects the seretonin levels in a positive way, so you get that happy feeling when you take it. I too want to have my mercury fillings removed, but as it is way too expensive to get this done at this time, or if I can find a really good dentist that is cheaper, then they stay put for a while. I do agree there can be many negative health issues surrounding mercury fillings.

Hilary Swank got mercury poisoning from eating a lot of fish, when she was building herself up for one of her films.

I like seafood. :(

It makes you wonder about all these health experts who are telling us to eat more fish....its what the world health organization, etc are telling them to say. On one hand fish is healthy, but on the other hand the sea is very polluted. :(

Are there any other health supplements that are good?

For other reasons, I'm taking wheatgrass powder at the moment, Aloe Vera capsules and vitamin C. Are foods with high antioxidant value just as helpful, I wonder? Spirulina is a powerful antioxidant, and has interesting health benefits, I have a book on it. Was going to buy some but decided to try the Wheatgrass instead. Spirulina comes from the sea but there are many brands which are good and pure.

Great discussion. I'm starting to notice blurring vision, will get some Alpha Tocopheral to try. Thanks for that recommendation. :)
As for the fillings, yeah would love to get mine out too.
