i found this article in our local newspaper :
HIS Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and sixty fellow members of the World Scout Foundation visited the Hawequas Scout Adventure Center in Wellington recently.
Sixty members of the foundation from 17 countries attended the milestone centenary conference in Cape Town.
It included a junior leadership training course held at the Hawequa Scout Adventure Centre in Wellington.
Here the members met with Scouts and Scout leaders, visited a number of projects and activities on the farm and were treated to a traditional South African braai.
During their visit, His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden inducted two new members into the World Scout Foundation and unveiled a plaque launching a campsite development project funded by fellow World Scout Foundation member, Col Robert Hall, through the Robert Hall Foundation.
A BBC film crew, producing a documentary commemorating the centenary of Scouting, covered their visit.
